“Great service when entered & while eating Food didn't take long to come out Taste of food was beautiful very flavoursom with generous size to share ✴️The butchers block that was huge size able to feed up to 8 ppl although could of done with a side of garden salad & the colsaw as the colsaw was to rich on its own & it was runny needing to be in a bowl but yes different salad to break the meat would of been nice, yes all the meat tasty & tender yes worth a block ppl ✴️The blacksmith cheeseburger was OK needed more mayo or burger sauce was a bit dry biting into it , was expecting cheesy flavor couldn't finding in the bite. ✴️Surf n Turf was on par with cooking steak medium rare prawns & muscles done right ✅️ just needed a bit more salad & sauce. ✴️ Ceasars salad✅️ beautiful meaty & tasty It Complemented the butcher block had shared it around so worth. ✴️ mash potatoe was very tasty & smooth shared between 3ppl was beautiful ✅️ ✴️ Garlic pizza bread was tasty ✅️ but would of just got a normal Garlic bread. ✴️ Jug of coke & raspberry costly & when got to taste had no fizz it tasted flat had advised the waitress she had bought out a new jug . When sitting and talking towards end of the meal felt rushed with waitresses coming in interrupted conversations by asking to take thing off the table & the supervisors other waiters lingering around the bar area to where they could advise waitresses of emptying tables to get ppl out sooner they got in . It was like that when eating we were seated not far and could see they were lingering around it was uncomfortable. If they could spread out or hang back in backhouse it wouldn't feel weird. Other than that would definitely go back & highly recommend but find seating further from bar area.”

“First time visiting. It was so nice to meet the previous owner who is Ara-Tai Cafe in Half Moon Bay. The atmosphere is nice and it's not too far from home, so it seems like a great place to brunch. The food is delicious and I'm planning to bring a friend.”

“We had a birthday celebration for our friend and brought our own birthday cake. Didn't have to pay extra fee for that. It was a fantastic service from the waitress to the chef. We are Muslims ladies, and the chef went to our table to double-check our dietary requirements and preferences. The whole night was wonderful. 100% recommended for celebration.”

You could tell they actually cared about making sure we were comfortable and happy. Service was fast, smooth, and super polite. It’s rare these days to see people go the extra mile, but the team here really did — and it made a big difference. Now about the food — wow. I’m not even exaggerating when I say everything was so fin’ good*. Packed with flavour, cooked perfectly, and served hot and fresh. Every bite just hit the spot. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they do, because the quality was honestly next level. “Looking for a breakfast place around takapuna after a pedia visit and tried Leaf & Loaf. Overall experience is excellent and lively, friendly staff. My fussy little one loved the blueberry pancakes. The rest of the food are awesome. Though I prefer boiling hot coffee but with the weather, it's acceptable food gets a little cold quicker. Highly recommend this place.”

“Just moved here, and I got suggested this place. What a setup. Really love it. Very spacious, workers are awesome to talk to, and the local people that I spoke to are very social. Good vibes. Was told to try their pizza and hot dog, so I did. - Brownzy dog 7.9/10 2 for $5 is great value. They're not spectacular. However, they're perfect while watching live sports and are arranged quite well. Delicious to eat. - Meat lovers pizza 7.5/10 $10 isn't too bad too, good size to share. At this point, I was a bit drunk and vacuuming the whole thing to sober up, but it was good for a bar snack. Prefer the brownzy dogs over this.”

“Ive been here a few times and each brings me back! I love a good Larb Salad, and theirs is very good!!! But the star today was the Chiang Mai noodles. OMG it was amazing. Khao Soi is the actual name for this particular curry, but it comes from northern Thailand, and reminded me of my visit to Chiang Mai, hence the name! I must have this again!!!! Im trying to add a photo, but so far cant....”

“This is a fantastic spot! I love the decor and the food. I ordered the rump steak, which was delicious. My partner enjoyed the vegetarian pasta, and my dad and mum both loved their dishes: the eye fillet melted in his mouth, and the crumbed chicken was delicious too. Service was excellent also.
