“I met a friend of mine for lunch. First time visiting this pub. Loved it. Fantastic customer service. Relaxing, environment with well thought out decor. Bathrooms worth a mention, very clean and lots of stalls. Loved the food!!! We shared a pizza, mac n cheese bites and truffle fries. I'll be back!!”

“Great little Irish Pub tucked away down a side alley in Newmarket. It was the perfect stop for a restful lunch and drink after shopping up a storm at the Newmarket mall. Great, friendly service. Meals were fantastic and reasonably priced. We enjoyed steak and the special of the day Beef Thai Salad. Will definitely stop in again!”

“Wow !! What a wonderful surprise today when we randomly selected Vino Vino for lunch on our day trip to Waiheke. Our random choice was due to the incredible views. From the start to the end the service, meal and attention was first class. We have been fortunate enough to eat at some incredible restaurants throughout the World and would have to rate this establishment right up there. “I've had two great meals here with friends over the last year (which is also how often I've been to Auckland over the last year lol), the Mussels are delicious! This time they had a new dessert on the menu, a Banoffee Pie, and it was stand out good!! 100% will order again if I'm back in Auckland. The staff are fantastic, really attentive and good at what they do, they make you feel like family. And they are so careful with dietary restrictions, we have a few coeliacs in our group and with everything on the menu being available as gluten free, they really enjoyed themselves, and the staff double check about the dietary restrictions to ensure no issues.”

“Reservation made for a birthday lunch on a Saturday around 30 people. Staff very helpful especially Jordan who could not do enough for us, nothing was too much trouble. Used their screen for photos (which my family had organised with the staff behind my back).Food excellent, everyone enjoyed the day. “I love The Patriot, it’s easily my second-favourite spot to enjoy a cold, refreshing beverage on a sunny afternoon. (First place goes to my lounge when the All Blacks are on.) I’m a proud regular, usually popping in once or twice a week to take advantage of a good 2 for 1 deal and some great food. But for the love of all things holy, please don’t change the rib sauce. I’m not sure if it was just tonight and my taste buds were having an identity crisis, but something tasted different. Those ribs are usually perfection and I frequently advertise them as the best ribs on the shore, so if there’s been a tweak to that glorious sauce, I’m begging you, bring it back!”
