“Husband and I had such a great week long stay here. Sandy and Glen were great hosts sharing with us their personal recommendations and answering all our questions regarding NZ. Our room had a wonderful view of Little Manly Beach. The hotel is conveniently located for a quick walk to town for great meals and/or a relaxing swim at Big Manly Beach. Our room was equipped for preparing simple meals. We could enjoy dining in our room at the large table or on the verandah outside our room overlooking the beach. Absolutely beautiful. Sandy and Glen do offer an extra breakfast option. Glen is mighty talented with those poached eggs. Enjoy.”

“Warm family welcome. Excellent afternoon tea. In-depth talk by the host about his life and work as a sheepfarmer. Great to meet brass and speed and see them in action. Finally the sheep shearing. Outstanding. A wonderful visit, highly recommended. Thank you”

“Our stay at the Delamore Lodge was fantastic! The lodge is unique and comfortable, with an incredible view. We loved waking up in the morning to the ocean view from our room and hiking down to the nearby bay. The service is phenomenal, very friendly and attentive staff. The food is 10/10-so fresh and we enjoyed trying the local foods! Wonderful breakfast by the fire each morning, evening appetizers, and the “Trust the Chef” dinner we had as fantastic. If you are looking for a charming lodge and great cuisine, the delamore is the place for you!”

“So friendly and very clean, we stayed in the B&B and the afternoon tea consisted of home baking, very yummy. Breakfast in the morning was much more than expected.. few minutes walk to Little Oneroa & 12 minutes to Oneroa Town, so very great location. Highly recommend Punga Lodge”

“The venue is stunning, offering amazing food and wine in a typical French atmosphere. Relax in various spots, from fine dining with ocean and scenic views to casual lounging under the trees. The very nice garden, filled with lots of lavender, adds to the charm.”

“Have just checked out after staying for 3 nights in the family suite & cannot recommend this place enough. They have thought of everything, from flannels specifically for makeup to chilled water in the fridge. The beds were extremely comfortable, the space was clean, tidy & enjoyable. The spa was an absolute highlight & the staff are great!”

“We had a wonderful three day stay. The level of detail is superb - Dietske refreshed our room twice a day and Gary had the most thoughtful and exquisitely prepared meals. They had so many good recommendations for us - ranging from beachside fish and chips to high end dinners and wineries! We were delighted by it all and found the stay warm, hospitable, comfortable, and deluxe. Booking a dinner with Gary is a must - so fresh, local, and a variety of flavors and tastes! The inn itself is small (2 rooms) so it’s a best fit for people looking to engage w the hosts and learn about the local food and culture through them.”

The motel was perfectly located just across a major Supermart (Pak n Save), and their prompt service made check-in seamless. Communication was effortless, and the cleanliness of the beddings and surroundings was impressive. Most importantly, Anita and Shane's friendly and helpful nature made us feel right at home. “Good motel that is reasonably priced. Didn't use the pool and spa but kids were enjoying it. It was also pet friendly which was nice to see. Friendly dogs about with some owners.”

“Possibly the cleanest and newest place I stayed in NZ. The room was huge, bathroom was spacious, kitchen set up was nice with fridge. Highly recommend the stay at this lodge! Only downside is bit far from CBD so about 30min walk into town.”

“I can’t speak highly enough about this motel and the awesome owners Brendon and Tina. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay, even allowing us an early check-in and late checkout to work around medical appointments. Brendon even brought in some mobility aids to make life easier in the unit. It was like a home away from home for us…spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped and very handy to some great eateries. They even had pot plants to give it a homely feel. We will definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Christchurch.”

“Had an amazing time, we stayed in room 9, which had big bed, air conditioning, coffee machine, smart TV, fridge, microwave and a comfortable bathroom with everything you need, I could tell the rooms were older buildings but they have been renovated and improved to a high standard. “Very good central location. Tidy room, no complaints or concerns. We arrived on a cold day and it was a nice touch to discover the room was warm with the heater already on. Property is on a steep hillside, so may present some challenges for those with mobility issues. A very pleasant stay.”

“Lovely hosts. Price was $25, not bad for the great location! Drive getting there was a little crazy but beautiful - narrow winding road, some drivers that need to slow down. There are bathrooms on site, and more at the beach car park just a 5 minute walk away. Right next to some great hikes and the black sand beach!”

“If you go down the steps and onto the pathway you will find a amazing miniature waterfall and if you come at night you will also find the glowworms just make sure you bring your torch”

“very nice place for couple who love the nature and not ready for a real camping. Peaceful tent with beautiful scenery. The wifi and cell phone signal not very stable but it's good if you want a place to escape.”
