We chose this hotel because they offered a free shuttle service to the railway station for the early train to Picton. It was just a few mins drive and the service was very efficient. The room was quiet despite being on a busy road. Comfy bed and super clean, lovely host too.
We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit with our adult daughter at the Tower Junction Motor Lodge for 3 nights during our recent NZ holiday. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean. The Unit is very well located and in walking distance to the train station. The owners were unobtrusive but happy to assist with transport etc. Parking is available and free. Highly recommended.
I stayed in Tower Junction Motel twice in Aug/Sept 2025 at the beginning & end of my travels (5 nights). Location is very good with easy walk to train station, pub for meals, & Riccarton shopping centre. The rooms are comfy, clean, well setup & reasonable prices. Prince our lovely host also offered shuttle services for pickup & drop off to various locations. Thank you Prince for your friendly hospitality & assistance. Amazing, accommodating hosts, who generously allowed us to go into the unit ahead time, who helped with luggage, explained use of amenities and took us to the train early in the morning. Friendly, helpful. Super Comfy bed. Kitchen facilities more than adequate for our needs. Warm. Clean. Very very happy with this stay
Very clean, modern rooms with all the necessary requirements. The owners could not be more obliging. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Affordable accommodation, central to train station, city centre and airport. Well worth the $$
A well laid out motel, although on a busy main road, was very quiet. 10 minute walk to Riccarton mall. off road parking. clean and tidy with everything you need. Would stay there again..
Tower Junction Motor Lodge was great. We arrived late in the evening and everything was sorted out for us for a late check in. We also very kindly got left to the train station the next morning. The rooms were a decent size and the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend. Lovely host, convenient location, quiet at night. Not noisy at all even in the Main Street.
Really enjoyed our stay here! The nice lady at reception made us felt very welcome and helped us with lots of tips to go around. Best accommodation on our trip. Will be staying here again if we ever go to Christchurch again.
My experience to this Hotel was really bad. The lady who was managing everything was so rude and unprofessional also she was racist. The wi-fi was very poor The carpets were very dirty When we were going to ask her anything she was so rude. Overall worst experience. I hope either they can improve their service or people could chose hotel wisely.
