   This room was good for the price, the bed was comfy and despite a bit of traffic noise outside I couldn't hear a thing inside the rooms! The guy who checked us in was very friendly and it was close to shops! Happy with my stay :)

   Owners John and Wendy were super welcoming and friendly. My wife and I received a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom unit at check-in. Great start! John also gave us a ride to the airport the next morning. What a kind gentleman!

   We needed accommodation @ short notice to attend a family funeral. Amalfi was walking distance away. So appreciative that the manager not only fitted us in, over long weekend, but offered flexibility with length of stay. Room was perfect for our needs, very clean, quiet & reasonably priced. We haven't had such a positive hotel experience in NZ for years. We'll be back.

   Awesome owners, willing to help where necessary. Rooms are great for working people. Downside (which is temporary) Riccarton Highschool is doing upgrades so congestion on the Main Road is bad at certain times, however manageable. Suits the purpose of living away from home. Have the ability to cook full meals in provided rooms. Will continue to use. Might even see you there

   We stayed here for 3 nights and the service was exceptional Our flight back to Australia was cancelled and they arranged accommodation at a different hotel for us for the night as none was available online due to an event in Christchurch Above and beyond what was expected And so greatly appreciated Will recommend to all my family and friends in Australia for all future Christchurch travels

   Emergency accommodation from Qantas due to being rerouted from AucklandNice full sized room with spa bath and kitchenette. The loss of a star is for the lack of an air conditioner to combat the humidity but, the owner/ manager did kindly put on the heater.
