“Stayed for 2 nights when first arriving in Christchurch, the motel was so good that we returned for the last 3 days of our trip. Marko was very accomodating and the beds were amazing. Could barely hear the traffic despite being on a relatively busy road, and was very nicely located to the mall. 10/10”

“I cannot recommend 306 Riccarton Hotel enough! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their friendliness and willingness to help at all times truly made a difference. The price was affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we hardly heard any road noise. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with everything we could possibly need—and then some! The location is ideal, within walking distance to nearby shops etc so everything was super convenient. We’ll absolutely be returning to 306 Riccarton Hotel next time we’re in Christchurch. “I just had my little fur baby stay in the kennels with Petite Paws for the first time for 5 day’s. When I picked him up he was happy and clean. He also didn’t smell like he has when I’ve collected him from previous kennels he has gone to. It was nice to know he was with other fur friends his own size and able to be inside instead of outside over night. He is absolutely exhausted from his big weekend (which I love). Highly recommend this place for people with small dogs for both day care and overnight stays.”

“Had a fantastic stay at the Randolph Apartments over Labour Weekend! Fantastic well appointed rooms, so clean and tidy, host really friendly and helpful! Also walking distance from some good restaurants! Also loved the fact that they had a bottle of dishwashing liquid not those horrible little sachets! Will definitely stay again!”

“Well located motel just minutes from the Botanic Gardens. We arrived in 5 deg C weather and the heating was turned on for us to enjoy the room immediately. Very thoughtful gesture. Our room had 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, a kitchenette, a dining table with 4 chairs, and a toilet. Comfortable space for 4 adults. Only issue is that the beds are a little on the soft side but pillows are firm & high, which made for a pretty weird sleep at an angle. Washer & dryer available, which were very useful! Kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, French Press, and an induction stove, hob, and pots and pans. Functional! Definitely recommend this place for those looking for a simple, fuss-free but comfortable stay but don't mind soft beds.”

“Clint Prior took over as property manager of my rental unit in late 2023 and remained in this role until I relocated in September 2025. As someone who rented for over 15 years (and through Ray White Hamilton for 14 of those years), I can easily say that Clint is the best property manager I have ever had. Clint makes a genuine effort to respect the privacy and wellbeing of tenants, ensure that properties are well-maintained, and that improvements/repairs are conducted as quickly as possible and with minimal interruption. “Possibly the cleanest and newest place I stayed in NZ. The room was huge, bathroom was spacious, kitchen set up was nice with fridge. Highly recommend the stay at this lodge! Only downside is bit far from CBD so about 30min walk into town.”
