   Absolutely amazing kennel - the staff are fantastic and the peace of mind knowing our troublesome doggos are safe and in good hands, is priceless! Seeing their photos everyday is the icing on the cake! Yesterday I needed extra help - my husband is away and I'd had leg surgery that became infected; staff responded with a phone call immediately, and were able to pick the pack up and transport them, in addition to taking them today! So thankful!

   We just took our 8.5month old springer spaniel puppy here for his first time at a daycare and I couldn’t rave about it more! Eliza checked us in and showed us how it all works and she was fantastic. She explained everything so well and I could immediately tell Wallace was in good hands. It was clear that all the staff we met on our first day were so passionate about pets and what they were doing and they were great with him! Wal’s reluctance to leave at the end of the day shows what a great time he had and he got so much attention and playing time. The play areas are huge and the pond is a great bonus. I also love seeing the pictures of him having the time of his life, we’ve already booked again for next week!

   Our little boy Maximus has been part of the Bark family since May 2022 and from day one Kristy and her fabulous team made Maximus and us feel welcome. Our boy goes to day stay a minimum of 4 days a week and comes home a happy little boy that has played to his hearts content and received all the hugs and cuddles he demands from his human friends at Bark. During this time when we needed to travel Maximus when to boarding and we could comfortable leave him in the teams very capable hands. From the Jackson family, thank you so much for all the love you show our little boy and us, always making time for a smile and a hello. We can highly recommend Bark to take care of the most precious part of any family, our loved animals.

   Baby Nuggy is at Bark Mon-Friday each week in day-stay , he is always sooooo excited to get his "good morning cuddles "from the lovely office staff, once hello's and cuddles have been taken care of he then cant wait to get through the next door to see his awesome human leaders that take him on exciting walks and play dates with his gang of other furry friends constantly through out the day .He loves it so much sometimes I think he would rather stay on than come home with mum & dad!!! when i pick him up at home time it is the same routine he his "goodbye cuddles " with the office staff with that big satisfied smile on his little face and his little dance that he does on 2 legs and we head off home Normally he is pretty tired from his big exciting day in the capable ,very friendly and welcoming staff at Bark Kennels & Cattery! I would recommend Bark Kennel & Cattery very highly -10 Stars from Nuggy and family !

   So grateful to the wonderful team at Bark for their love and care with Diesel. Diesel loves going to Day stay every week and his social skills and confidence has grown immensely. Highly recommend Bark. They work hard and most importantly treat every dog like their own.

   My partner booked and arranged for our puppies to stay here assuming that most feedback's were correct. Unfortunately our experience was really on the serious/dangerous end of bad. There was several issues, but the most serious was one of our puppies was several weeks post surgery and had seen Selwyn vets 2 days prior. The vet was emphatic strict rest and no boisterous activity at all. We checked into the kennels and clearly explained this to the general manager and receptionist. They questioned / clarified and we again emphasised no combined play with other dogs. They had a part on their admission form for Social or Non Social. The general manager corrected the receptionist to change the form from social to non social (which we saw was changed) and assured us that our puppies wouldn't get to play with other dogs and she checked our puppies healing wound herself. We left feeling reassured that they wouldn't be playing rough with other dogs. We returned to collect our 2 puppies and were told awkwardly that they were playing with a small social group . The staff member that told us was clearly awkward - in a caught out way. We were really shocked as the vet was clear that left calm things would improve, but rough play could have caused a rupture and necessitated further surgery etc. We still cant believe that the care at this kennel was sooooo poor, apart from the fact that like all owners we care for our puppies, the neglect by Bark Kennels and failure to follow such an important point of care re the puppies health could have resulted in them being liable for additional surgery. This was not a trivial failure and we would never return and would suggest that owners that expect good care choose their kennels wisely.

   As always, fantastic! Had the dog in the kennel for just over a month, he came back chubbier and clean. Had him in a different kennel previously where he lost a bit of weight. I don't think he wanted to come home... Couldn't wait to get back today for more daycare! Never an issue with Bark - lots of pictures of the dogs which is nice when you're away for a while. The girls there are awesome and super caring, highly recommend the team.
