   We had a lovely stay at Merivale. The hotel itself is beautiful with it's own history. The hosts, Wayne and Karen were very welcoming and super helpful. The location was great for getting into the centre of the city, and the rooms were perfect, all amenities, spotlessly clean and even had the heating on for our arrival. Would recommend to anyone!

   We really enjoyed our stay in Merivale and Christchurch. Great spot for dining and shopping and accessing the city. We had a vehicle and that made it easy to get around. Grant and Maree were fabulous host and generous with their information and knowledge of places to eat and visit and they were spot on. Merivale Manor being a historic building had 2 flights of stairs to get upstairs and we had lovely old and spacious room. We had a requested a twin room and it had a queen bed and single both of which were very comfortable. Great shower and nice bathroom. Thanks so much to Grant and Maree

   Super cute, clean place. Within walking distance to downtown. The host was super friendly and gave us recommendations for places to go out for a drink. They also let us borrow NZ to USA adapters for our chargers. We stayed here two nights and couldn’t have had a better experience.

   Booked a room for around a month for my parents who first time to visit New Zealand, a very cozy and comfortable apartment. The warm and gracious welcome from Karen and Wayne made it feel like a home away from home. Always being hospitant and friendly to share trip idea, this gave them unforgettable travel experience here. Routine cleaning is also great, doing with cares and respect different customers' behaviour to provide a flexible housekeeping schedule. Highly recommended.

   Gorgeous property beautifully preserved and presented. Just a short walk from St George's hospital and Merivale Mall. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need, even a small kitchenette. A really nice, private and very safe feeling stay.

   Great Wedding Anniversary stay. My wife and I chose this place because of the old style building with great furnishings and reviews. Merivale Manor did not disappoint. The Peacock Suite upstairs at the rear of the building was very well appointed and comfortable. Karen the host was very welcoming and friendly. The location is only a minute or two from Merivale where shops and eateries are situated. We'll be back.
