“A well run lodge. You need things like sheets, blankets, towels, toiletpaper and cooking utensils are all needed. Some rooms have showers and toilets while other single ones don't. However there are communal showers and cooking facilities. I have been here 4yrs and find it comfortable.”

“Excellent Location, room sizing, and hospitality. High recommend this motel for whānau (family) accommodation with a loved one in Wellington Regional Hospital or just passing through. Situated between Woolworths and the Hospital everything is within walking distance. Michelle and her Husband are easy going and amazing hosts whom made our stay here a breeze, especially with our loved ones critical condition. “Comfortable rooms, comfortable bed at a good price. Clean rooms, well serviced. Location is close to Riccarton / Westfield Mall. An easy walk to shop to you drop! Mc Donald's is also easy walking distance. Some staff at time did not seem to have english as a first language, but communicated ok... On Riccarton Road, so good access to central Christchurch city centre and also towards the main number 1 highway and airport. Good value for money in my view. Reccomend if you want a comfortable stay at a good price and location.”

“I really liked this hostel a lot, I stayed there for 3 weeks. Staff is amazing, all of them honest hard working guys. I always felt safe, welcome and the atmosphere / other guests was super warm and friendly. Good and clean kitchen and bathroom Only disadvantage is the sound insulation especially when room/window is facing K-Road”

“This place is excellent the manager Mavis and her staff are lovely people. Straight across the rd is a dairy which is so convenient and up the rd 5mins is countdown. Please ignore the negative reviews this motel is beautiful.”

“We had a great stay at Te Puke Holiday Park. We stayed in one of the cabins, which were nice and tidy. The showers, toilets, and kitchen were all clean and well maintained. The owner and the other guests at Te Puke Holiday Park were all very friendly and made our stay even better.”

“We had a warm and welcoming stay with friendly and helpful staff. Its convenient location near the new hospital build, gardens, and university makes it an excellent choice for visitors. The 2-bedroom units are reasonably priced, making it a great value for families or groups. Overall, a pleasant stay with good amenities and friendly service.”

“I was apprehensive about going here but they could fit us in straight away so went. Lynne was absolutely amazing. My son is 15 months old and she didn’t rush, helped with my bag, didn’t pressure him when he got upset and overall it was a wonderful experience. Maybe ask for Lynne if you make an appointment?”

“Dr Sheelagh James saved my husband's life by requesting tests early on when symptoms were still undetectable. Dr John McCartie is my doctor and he is kind and thorough. I've also seen Dr Glenn Neo and Dr Victor Ji and they are both fabulous. Everyone really cares. The patient portal works well and wait times are usually not too bad either.”

“Receptionist is kind, spoken gentle tone with heaps of help about enquiring for my little pēpi. Tamariki Ora nurse checked in on us when pēpi was born for its check ups. Doctor for another reason also kind and gave us positive feedback. I recommend whānau to enroll here.”

Thankfully, their incredible team was available after hours and took immediate action. Thanks to their prompt and compassionate care, our dog's life was saved. “Room was clean and good sized. They took a deposit but I had never stayed there before and given it's proximity to the stadium they probably have some rowdy guests so the policy is understandable. Nice bathroom. I wanted a budget room and got it. I would stay there again. Five stars because anything less is considered derogatory.”

“The buildings are getting a bit tired however a major bonus was the natural springs private spa (not all rooms) It fills with very hot spring water and if you've got the time it's best to fill it 3 hours before you're going to use it so it can cool down without needing to dilute it with fresh cold water.”

“Spent 3 nights here in January 2024. Was a fantastic stay. The room was equipped with everything I needed - stove/oven, washer/dryer, large double bed, TV, wifi and view down to the Harbour. Service was great, as well as on site parking. Short walk to everything in downtown Wellington. Highly recommend for couples or singles, or traveling for work.”

“We stayed the night before our early flight in the family unit- 3 adults and 2 children. The room was very spacious for all of us and our bags. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The area was quiet. The staff were amazing, helpful, accommodating. They even had scales we used to weigh our bags. The airport transfers were easy. Felt fine leaving the car for a week with them. My only suggestion would be to put a mirror in the bedroom as there was only 1 mirror in the bathroom.”

“We booked one night when we were already in the airport. They picked us up few minutes after the calling for 7$ per Person. Nice place, very friendly and helpful staff. ATM, Supermarket & restaurants are nearby. Kitchen with all you need to cook available + free coffee & tea. Laundry + dryer costs 8$.”
