If you want a cheap place to sleep at it’s perfect. The lady in the office was really nice! However the building is really old and I’m not sure if my sheets were clean. The laundry costs 10 dollars, at campsites it’s 8 :). Everything else was fine!
Lovely spot. Rooms were clean and fresh, water pressure in shower was decent, and a full kitchen was a surprise too. Heat pump was enough to keep the chill away over night and everyone slept great. Nice and close (walking distance) to alot of food places and the museum. Parking is a little tight, but thats only an issue if you have an overly large vehicle. Would happily go back here if needing accommodation in Dunedin again
Vanessa has been amazing. So friendly, helpful & nothing wis a problem. 2 bedroom unit very spacious. Good shower & comfy bed.
Great reception upon our arrival. Hosts are always ready to please. Aircon is wonderful. Rooms are basic but everything is here is also clean and tidy
We had a warm and welcoming stay with friendly and helpful staff. Its convenient location near the new hospital build, gardens, and university makes it an excellent choice for visitors. The 2-bedroom units are reasonably priced, making it a great value for families or groups. Overall, a pleasant stay with good amenities and friendly service.
Totally excellent. Cosy clean room. Polite, friendly, lovely staff. Great housekeeping. The design of the building was very ideal. Extremely close to a dairy, university, grass field, and heaps of food outlets. The best place I've stayed in Dunedin and I've stayed in 5 hotel/motels so far. Also the neighbours were super friendly and polite across the fence. Thank you so much to the management. Best recommended accommodation in Dunedin.
Stayed here for 2 nights, pillows super thin no spare pillows, oven sitting in a box in middle of the kitchen waiting to be put in, curtains didn't fit windows smelled very musty and unfortunately didn't realize we were in a student area so lots of loud music yelling and bottles being smashed etc would not recommend
Used to work here. Manager definitely tried to rip off everyone within arm’s reach. The bedspread will only be cleaned every few months. Half of units have strong unpleasant musty smell in them. No pest control has been carried out in eons and I found a bed bug whilst cleaning.
At $305 for two nights, I was so disappointed. Had the worst sleep, beds were too soft and the pillow was just a foam slab. No extra pillows provided. The teenager with me has a habit of searching couches for money, 2 x $1 coins later and a whole lot of dust and dirt he found some. I paid $15 for my non-shed dog, but the only service they did was empty the rubbish bins, which was the stuff pulled out of the couch they didn’t clean anything. Not even the dishes that I washed and drained were put away, the beds weren’t made, towels weren’t changed. Motel isn’t the right description, it’s more budget accomodation. The only good thing I have to say is the location is great. Recommend clean the cobwebs, dust everywhere, vacuum plus clean grime off ceiling, clean the shower curtain and supply real pillows plus spares please.
Please don't stay there. There was no other accommodation available with pets in Dunedin . So I grabbed it. Got there very late. The room smelt bad the curtains were to short to close over the windows and a oven sitting in the middle of the kitchen waiting to be fitted . I spoke to the manager in the morning and he could not see any problem with the room and offered a discount for the next time I stay there. I said... I would not ever come back
