   This is not a great place to stay, especially if you have other options. The carpets as you walk into the motel are stained and dated, worse than that they don't feel clean underfoot. The rooms continue the theme, first stained carpets, stained bedding, the sheets and pillow cases were clean at least. The shower, while hot was a trickle, meaning you need to huddle right under the shower head to get water on you, the towels close of the experience by being really thin and very very small. Overall, I suggest avoiding this place, there are places priced the same with better facilities and for slightly more a night you can do substantially better. This place shouldn't be priced more than $70 a night.

   Stayed here for a couple of nights with our infant daughter. The host provided a portacot and even changed our room to accomodate for a play area! The rooms were very run of the mill and basic but that’s what you pay for. Cooking amenities were not good but this place is perfect if you plan to eat out during the day and evenings!

   We travel quite a bit and have never come across a more disgusting place to stay. The window onto the alley was open when we arrived which did NOTHING to disguise the incredibly strong chemical cleaner smell. The bathroom which opened directly by the second bed, I can only assume flooded recently, by the state of the door and a large dose of shake b vac was used in an attempt to cover the smell. It was so bad we checked out after only an hour, with my son and I both feeling light headed and nauseous. The cooking hobs also looked like they had been left to rust outside, the fridge was disgusting and furniture damp. Run, don't walk, from this hell hole! There are plenty of other options in Dunedin, with some priced even cheaper than this

   We stayed 3 nights at motel on carrol, the rooms were very clean and in a brilliant location. The manager Brian is a sweetheart who helped us tremendously with any questions or requests we had. Loved our stay here and will be sure to return. Highly recommend.

   For $130 a night was perfect. Off street secure parking. Room had everything i needed. Only complaint would be the very cold hallway. But you don't sleep in the hall..

   Normally I don’t leave reviews but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Price is way to much for the amenities when you can get something else allot better for a similar price. This place had allot of shady people hanging around it who seemed to be drinking all day. Was incredibly noisy throughout the night from people arguing and had drunk people at 11pm knocking on my door. Ended up staying somewhere else because it didn't feel safe.

   for the price we paid for this room it was very run down, old kitchen gear and shower, the only thing that looks like it had been done up was the bathroom sink, everything else looked about as old as could be. paid almost the same for a room in nelson and was much better for the price. would not come back.
