“This sushi train spot in Westgate is always busy, especially with families and groups - it’s clearly a local favourite. I came here today with my parents, who love this place and already know all the best things to order. We started with the fried chicken nuggets, they were super crispy and a great way to kick things off. Ordering was easy with the QR code on the table. We got a good mix: some fresh salads, a sushi set, a sashimi set, and a big bowl of udon to share. The sashimi was probably the highlight - really fresh, nicely presented, and the pieces were surprisingly generous. We enjoyed every bite. The udon was also a perfect way to wrap up the meal - warm, hearty, and satisfying. The vibe here is really friendly and relaxed. It’s a bit pricier than some other sushi train places, but the quality makes it totally worth it. Definitely recommend if you're looking for solid sushi in West Auckland. + visited again and had a fabulous dinner (added more photos)”

“We had the most beautiful dinner. We had pizza and seafood crepe for starters. Eye fillet for main and creme brulee and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was on the spot, fast service and lovely Melanija serving us. True Italian experience with authentic food, wood fire . Big recommendation”

“Went to Gusto Italiano not knowing what to expect which ended up being a great decision last night. Our dinner the seafood spaghetti, chicken breast with vegetables & chicken fettuccine all amazing. The service from Milan & Armando was equally great. Definitely will return and thinking about ordering pizza & lasagne for tonight.”

“We had a delightful dinner at Siamese Doll recently. The flavours were amazing, portions were generous, the service was attentive without being overbearing. We had 2 entrees, 4 mains and a round of drinks for $60 a head, which I thought was great value. Great to see a busy restaurant on a Wednesday night! They also dealt with my daughter’s nut allergy seriously and respectfully. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“I love this place! Really good food and service. Prices are reasonable, too. There's not really a downside, but if you're seated in the separate booths in the hallway, you lose some of the atmosphere, but if you're looking for some privacy, that's the spot. 5 stars!!”

“Really great pool hall, extremely well priced to play pool, the food is a bit on the pricier side, but it is really high quality and tasty. Had the $31 burger which was never going to be the best value, but it was very nice. Had the ribs last time and the pizza too, all very nice. Some of the best thick cut fries I’ve had. Really great place, a local favourite.”

The beautiful decor around the restaurant adds to the identity of the restaurant and the culture too. This restaurant deserves all the praise that they receive and will receive in the future. “A tiny jewel hides in lovely St Heliers neighborhood. Booking is super easy - online or phone call. Parking is easy as. Quality, freshness and quantity of dishes achieved a great balance. Clean and tidy - toilet too (and not wet). Try and you will keep coming back.”

“Very busy restaurant, we went around 7:30 and it’s nearly full house on a Wednesday night. Food was great and authentic as usual. You have a lot to choose from on their menu. Portion size is great, I won’t say it’s pricey.”

“Had a Christmas dinner with work mates last night and it was fabulous. The kai was great, starting with a generous entree and pizza plus generous mains and desserts. We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. The restaurant was jam packed but that didn’t seem to phase the waiting team at all. Congratulations on a very busy but wonderful environment, service and kai!”

The staffs was very attentive and caring, making sure I am well sorted. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and breathes good vibes. “We have been a frequent customer at Zac’s Pizza, mostly ordering takeouts, but we decided to stop by for a dinner this time, and it did not disappoint! We started with the cocktail shrimp, which came in a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and vibrant, complemented by a unique and flavourful special ingredient sauce that really set it apart. For the main course, I had the steak, and it was everything I hoped for—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a rich and savory mushroom sauce. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being busy, we only had to wait around 20 minutes for our food. The staff here are always so friendly, with a smile on their faces, making us feel right at home. Plus, there’s plenty of parking out front, which makes everything even more convenient.
