   After 35 years, Zac's feels like an old friend. It's still a welcoming place to enjoy a great pizza. Served straight from the oven is the best way to enjoy it. Thanks guys for continuing to make delicious pizzas and memories.

   Ordered a Fungi pizza (3/10) so bland I added salt to every slice I ate which Is something I’ve never done. Honey prawns - overcooked and rubbery. Flavour nice though And the star of the show- lasagna. One mouthful was enough. Drenched in tomato sauce it was basically swimming. Foul. The chefs need to have a look in the mirror

   Come and support this business!! A quaint retro, step back in time, family owned pizzeria in Kumeū….that’s not a foreign owned USA chain. We should be supporting more local businesses!! The service was brilliant…we had a young waitress who was bubbly and attentive, she made our experience even better. She was fantastic. We ordered the meat lovers pizza, the chicken peri peri pizza and the fries. The fries were brilliant….probably some of the best I’ve had from a pizzeria. Recommend. The pizza bases were great. The dough was proofed and cooked very well……but the quality of the toppings needs improving. The only thing on point was the cheese. The meat lovers pizza was good, but the quality of the meat was poor (if they used a different ham, it would have elevated it more). The chicken peri peri pizza was just ok. I feel the ratio of capsicum/vege mix was off (it wasn’t measured) so this unbalanced the pizza and the chicken flavors were lost. Maybe more chicken as it was more a vegetarian pizza. We had a great night dining in at Zac’s…….come and support this great business! I’m looking forward to their improvements and to trying them again.

   We visited this spot in Kumeu with high hopes, as it's local and we absolutely love supporting our hard working local businesses. This place has a lot of potential to be a great Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming and had a good vibe, which definitely set the tone for a fun meal. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our visit. However, when it came to the pizza, it was a bit of a letdown. While the amount of cheese was spot on and satisfying, the quality of the meat was really not good. It was very processed, similar to what you’d find on a Domino’s or other cheap chain pizzas and didn’t live up to the authentic, high-quality flavors we were hoping and paid for. Overall, we really hope they reconsider the ingredients and improve the pizza so we can come back and enjoy it as a proper Italian dining experience. The place is very tired but has great potential, and with a few changes, like a nice music and good quality ingredients, it could definitely become a favorite in the area. We really need a nice, quality restaurant in this area and this could totally be the one.

   We have been a frequent customer at Zac’s Pizza, mostly ordering takeouts, but we decided to stop by for a dinner this time, and it did not disappoint! We started with the cocktail shrimp, which came in a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and vibrant, complemented by a unique and flavourful special ingredient sauce that really set it apart. For the main course, I had the steak, and it was everything I hoped for—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a rich and savory mushroom sauce. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being busy, we only had to wait around 20 minutes for our food. The staff here are always so friendly, with a smile on their faces, making us feel right at home. Plus, there’s plenty of parking out front, which makes everything even more convenient. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

   Mushroom fungi pizza was delicious and nice atmosphere and nice kind staff. But what kinda ham are they using? It was not eatable and even kids avoid to eat those. Such a disappointment.

   Terrific quantity of toppings for sure! Perhaps even too generous.. Sadly though.. this is NOT an authentic/genuine pizza experience.. The ham resembles a cheap corned beef and mince meat on pizza was certainly a first, not something I dared to finish nor will I ever repeat :D

   AMAZING and very filling Pizza. Very affordable and is LOADED with goodness. Had the Chicken Peri Peri and the Meat Lovers. The crust/base was crunchy and cooked perfectly. The ingredients were fresh and perfectly cooked. VERY RECOMMENDED ❤️

   Cozy, intimate atmosphere, great for small groups. Food was decent but missing more spices/herbs or that something extra. Generous serving sizes for price. Our waitress (the young blonde lady) was very friendly and patient - thanks for catering to our large, disfunctional group so well.
