   I just received my pizza by delivery and I have to say I’m really disappointed. For $50, I was expecting a much larger and better-sized pizza. Unfortunately, the portion is really small compared to the price, and it doesn’t feel like good value at all. I’d appreciate it if you could look into this, as the quality and portion don’t match what I paid.

   Your pizzas and the garlic bread were amazing. We had tried authentic pizzas from few other places and Umu pizzas are one of the best. Your Tiramisu was delicious and you have just earned a loyal customer for the tiramisu as it was that awesome! Couldn’t even take a photo of tiramisu as we were kept eating, otherwise i could posted it in here.

   Tried again today number 31 and their pizza bread. 9.5/10. So good, definitely best pizza in all of Auckland Was recommended to try this pizza place. We ordered the number 4 and the number 4 & 7 (47). The woodfire dough was although on the thinner base side from the ones I've had in the past, it was excellent. The number 4 was like a fettucini carbonara kind of taste with a creamy base and was very good. the 47 was my preferred one and the one I would easily rate 9+/10, had a tomato base, jalapeno, cheese was perfect and the bits of salami was perfectly crisp. The dough was little bit chewy which was an enjoyable texture and the overall taste was just right and didn't felt lack of taste while not overpowering in flavour. I really like this place and after talking to the person at the front that we also enjoyed another pizza place called Elmo, we found out that they had a chef from Elmo that came over to Umu which to me was not surprise as the quality here reminds me of Elmo and both of these place are my favourite now.

   How amazing to find such high quality legitimate Delicious pizza in Auckland. Last time I had a good pizza like that was in Italy ! Thank you Umu. Great Pizza. Highly recommended & Definitely will come back again soon !

   Went for the first time before the women's world cup match at Eden park. They squeezed our group in last minute and got us a table. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They had a variety of pizza options including dairy and gluten free. The gluten free option wasn't the best texture and could have been cooked more but the other pizzas everyone enjoyed. The atmosphere was buzzing and with the pizza oven in the main dining area it provided some additional entertainment.

   Oh, I love Umu Pizza, gorgeous crust and toppings. A bit pricey for 12-inch pizza, but it’s so worth it and enough to feed two people. And dec t size Caprese salad was delicious with soft, tender and creamy cheese. Lovely atmosphere with a small cocktail bar corner.

   Yum! i love the sourdough and unique topping combos here. 1 tip is i would definately dining in, when getting this on uber eats or any delivery (although still yum) i dont think the pizzas travel quite so well

   We arrived close to opening on a Saturday lunch and got a fairly frosty greeting by the two staff there. We did ask if they were open and they said yes. They barely spoke to us while we ordered. All this was forgivable if the food was good. We ordered a basic margarita pizza (number 1) and it honesty was not very enjoyable. As another review noted the centre was really soggy even under cooked and the ingredients did not seem quality (the tomato base taste like cheap canned tomatoes). There was three tiny pieces of basil leaf on the whole pizza. The crust was the nicest part. They had noted waiting for the oven to heat up when it arrived explaining why it took so long. The whole experience was pretty uncomfortable and we are unlikely to return. We will give them though the benefit of the doubt on the pizza but it they weren’t ready to open, wait till you are and treat customers like they are invading your space. Not impressed.

   Tasty pizza and cold beers. The artichoke dip was a little bland though. The vibes inside were good, and I liked the decor, but it was super cold. The staff were nice and quick to service but once you got everything they kind of forgot about you. A tad pricey for what you got.
