   This place is my absolute favourite and there are so many reasons why. As soon as you walk in, you are welcomed by the most down to earth humans and they bring you papad (Indian crackers) even before you order. Their KTM chicken is probably the best curry I’ve had in all of Auckland. It’s rich and fragrant and absolutely delicious. The momos are divine and we can’t wait to explore all the other food they make. The owner Prakash is one of the nicest people you’ll meet. He is so kind and generous and he always remembers his repeat customers. I will always go back here, because there is a sense of being back home, but way better.

   We've been here countless times at Kathmandu Kitchen and the food never disappoints. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, nice and clean interior and the customer service is consistently outstanding. One of our absolute favorites - highly recommended! :)

   Beautiful food and beautiful people. I come here often, fave dish is fish masala! The 2nd smaller plate was complimentary as inwas their first customer to eat in of the day. I will always reccomend eating here.always good and the service is always happy and lovely. Thanks kathmandu team!

   After coming once before, we have come back as a family with higher expectations than the last time. We cannot express the absolute wonderful experience at Katmandu. The beautiful decor around the restaurant adds to the identity of the restaurant and the culture too. This restaurant deserves all the praise that they receive and will receive in the future. The food is quickly prepared and served with absolute excellence. I wish to thank the owner for the opportunity to experience such cuisine. To possible new customers, my family and I urge you to visit and experience Kathmandu for yourself.

   I ordered food from here for a birthday party, chicken & prawn biriyani, kadhai paneer, butter chicken and three different types of naan breads and a salad. Everything was absolutely delicious. When I went to order owner was kind enough to let me try some of their biriyani to check the spice level. Amazing customer service, I was even given a free Mango Kulfi on the house which was scrumptious! Overall my experience was absolutely awesome. Highly recommended!

   I suspect this is now under new management as we used to order from here when it was called Gorkha and the food was excellent not so anymore and we will never return. We ordered a variety of curries including fish and chicken and everything tasted exactly the same. Confusingly, we couldn’t even tell the difference between the chicken and the fish and the curry sauce tasted exactly the same despite ordering different dishes. It went straight into the bin and we had sandwiches for dinner. Highly unrecommended.
