   I absolutely love this place and have been going every week since 2022. I just can't help myself, as their kebab is SUPER YUM!. Lately I've noticed that the portion control is slowly decreasing over time. I always have the same order whenever I go. But lately I've found myself not going anymore since I don't get the same portion as I used to. I understand that the economy has had its impact, but I wish it would go back to the portion it once was.

   Amazing tasting kebabs, meat was soft, juicy and tender. Genuinely my favourite kebab’s in Auckland. I always get the mixed on rice and I’m never disappointed.

   Easily the best kebab I’ve had in a fair good while. Absolutely perfect. Great prices for an AWESOME kebab. I’m not quite sure what kind of seasoning you guys do for your chips (chicken salt??), but holy damn they were so on point. Perfect amount of seasoning and perfectly crispy, Chips really can make or break a meat on chips. Chicken was beautiful, again the seasoning was incredible. Fresh salad and yummy sauces. Good amount of extra cheese. I will be coming back as much as possible. Thank you for a great after work meal

   Disgusting customer service, I asked for a menu and was told “ too much money” take a photo. I made a phone order and clearly stated 2 kebab combos and 1 other kebab, I went to grab my drinks and the rude lady at the counter said “ NO JUST DRINK NOT DRINKS” , I told her I ordered 2 combos and she told me “ no you never say that “. May as well have ordered vegetable kebabs as there was about a teaspoon of meat in each of the 3 kebabs. Dry as a paper towel, no flavour. My 2 minute chicken noodles have more flavour than what I was served tonight. I will never buy food from here again. Chips tasted like they were in the frier for 2 minutes max. Chicken looked and tasted like it had been recooked and reheated 3x

   Went there to have dinner with a couple of friends, ordered Arum special which was a mix of 3 different kebabs. Stuff were friendly; food was tasty and in adequate portions. Decent price. I would specialy recommend the Barg kebab, which was very tender and authentic.

   If you're after the most authentic Persian cuisine, Arum is where you'll find it. There are a few Persian restaurants in Auckland, but can't be compared with Arum when it comes to authenticity. The kebabs are juicy and delicious with decent portion sizes. The prices are reasonable as well. The owner usually comes and ensures that you're enjoying the quality and taste of your meal. His delight in receiving your appreciation tells how much he cares about the quality of the food and his customers.

   It's okay I've been a few times not to often so this review is not based on a one time experience. The $8 dollar special with either chicken on rice or chicken on chips is good. I got the mixed chicken and lamb on rice today, was nice. I still think portion sizes are not the best, the lamb always tastes hard not soft and tender like it should be. I feel the old guy here tries his best but at times he gets tired and you can see that in the way he talks and serves. He's nice and friendly otherwise. All in all it's okay but I'd rather go to the kebab place inside Northwest mall they do a decent feed for the price as well.

   Good experience at Arum. Nice size chicken/lamb mix on rice with a selection of salads. I thought they could put a bit more salad in there! $17 for the large size is on the expensive size but it tasted pretty good. Only issue was the lamb was a bit grizzly. I will probably return if I feel like a kebab again
