   We have dined at Moxie regularly over the last 4 months. What a great find! Everytime we come out very satisfied with our dining experience in all aspects. We love the oysters in tomato salsa and herb oil, the mushroom/ truffel mini pizza, the torched kingfish, waygu beef crochets, the beef wellington( make sure u order in advance) the asparagus really yummy. The service is as good as the food - Maria ( from Brazil) and Jensen ( from Canada) delightful and efficient. Keep doing what you are doing Moxie- the right food, the right chefs and the right people serving the tables is a winning recipe. See you in 2026- we have already booked again! Merry Christmas

   An absolutely wonderful restaurant! The Christmas decorations were beautiful, the service was warm and friendly, and most importantly, the food was truly delicious. The backyard is filled with gorgeous greenery, making the space even more charming. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well cared for. Highly recommended!

   I love finding new places to eat, especially when it’s only 10 minutes away from home. Moxie is a hidden gem in a beautifully converted villa, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The staff are friendly, experienced, and clearly enjoy what they do. The food was fantastic — the kingfish was perfectly balanced, the beef Wellington stole the show, and even the pastries were delicious. The tuna salad and cauliflower were good, though the flavors didn’t quite hit for us. Everything else, from the atmosphere to the service, was spot on.

   Great place for dinner! The atmosphere for this place is just right with the lighting going well with everything. The servers were friendly being knowledgeable with the dishes. The Beef Wellington tasted great, the meat itself was cooked perfectly with it melting in my mouth. The oven baked cauliflower was just amazing. The flavours definitely goes well together, having it inspired by Indian spices probably. The price was pretty respectable for the quality of the food, service and place.

   Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Every dish we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The Beef Wellington was tender and perfectly cooked, the cheeseburger was rich and juicy, and the lamb chops were incredibly tasty. Each dish was a highlight on its own. Highly recommended – a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions!

   Having just moved into the area, we're working our way though all the local eats. Heard from a few people that Moxie was a spot to try out. Went there on a Friday night and despite the full house, the service and food was fantastic. Notable items were the fried rice and the roasted carrots. Cocktails were creative and executed perfectly. Great neighbourhood spot.

   Hi James & Amy, I was the Dj at Phil & Cheries wedding last Saturday night. I'd just like to say thank you for everything - the fact that you allowed us early access to set up was appreciated, the staff are friendly and amazing and really helpful, and the food was beyond amazing! I've eaten food from all over the world, but that chicken was the best I've ever eaten. The flavours were mindblowing, the presentation was on point and the service during dinner was beyond par. Moxie Restaurant is such a cool venue - nice and cosy, well laid out and you were both extremely welcoming. Out of all the weddings I've ever done, Moxie has to be one of the best venues I've ever played in! Once again, thank you for being so accommodating and I'd have no hesitation in playing there again. Thoroughly recommend the food, and the experience as a whole. Thanks guys!

   If you don’t mind the small portion size and the rude untrained staff, it’s good place. At least food tastes great. Firstly ordered 5 dishes including Wellington beef which claimed for 2-4people. However we ended up order another 2 dishes later. So total we ordered 7 dishes, the Wellington beef was around $85 but look at the portion size below. Besides, the young woman staff keep taking our plates away with/without asking! So impatient. My friend was still eating and there was a big piece there! She just took it away without asking! SOOO RUDE. When we ask for menu again, she was passing by and act impatient to us. We were coming for a slight fine dining experience and a good service here then ended up very unpleasant experience. Won’t come back again.

   Dined for the first time at Moxie to celebrate Valentine's Day. James created a set menu perfect to celebrate Valentine's day. The food was incredible, cocktails were amazing and the service was impeccable. We cannot wait to come back and experience the regular menu.

   Absolutely loved my time here. Everything was delicious, staff were super attentive, friendly and you could tell enjoyed their jobs. That was my first time ever trying beef Wellington and it was delicious! As was the cauliflower and wallaby toast. Thanks for a great night!
