Food is great. Ate stuffed capsicum and eggplant pilaf with apple tea. The restaurant even offers a separate vegan menu. But the service …. I mean, can the team try be a bit upbeat? The owner especially is very glum. Why wouldn’t you be a bit more welcoming to the small number of people who do visit you? Restaurant isn’t cheap. 2 meals and Apple tea cost us $77.

Good food. Service was lacking a bit. Family run business. No staff hence a bit of delay in service. Lamb did not inspire, was okk. Pasta was excellent. Very flavourful and creamy. Will give it another go.

Such a local gem. Food is just delicious. The beef cheeks and the lamb mains just melt in your mouth. Wonderful flavours and good portions. Highly recommend

Went on a Sunday night because of the 5 star reviews quite disappointed. We both had 3 courses each. The calamari was a bit tough and no seasoning, both the entree and mains could have benefited from salt. I was looking forward to the deep fried donuts for dessert but they weren't freshly cooked and quite bland. The food was average at best. Would not return.

An amazing food experience— I can taste the authenticity. Tender and falling apart in your mouth pressure cooked lamb, creamy red lentil soup, beautifully plated food, friendly chef and staff, and really interesting shelf food I’ve never seen before! The free candy I tried out as I paid for my meal was really fascinating as well— brightly coloured, soft, salty on the outside, sweet, melt in my mouth....honey like aftertaste after a few minutes..... The restaurant looks plain outside, but once you walk in, everything is so comfy, gorgeous, friendly....the chef/owner greeted us, chatted, asked if we’d like the heater on....all the outdoor chairs have pillows and comforters...... They deserve more customers :’( I don’t understand why it was so empty on a Monday afternoon at around 1-2pm.

The food in this place is super good. The menu is different enough and it has a real authentic South East Europe / Turkish taste. The meat has a fantastic dash of char to it. Youll feel damn great after eating here. Portions are a little on the small side, but grab some dessert and you'll be golden.

Such a cool little place. Feels very authentic and you can see your food being prepared. There's a covered deck area which can hold large groups or yiu can sit inside if you want somewhere quieter. Food was superb and I give the yoghurt cheesecake the big thumbs up!

FIVE ENTHUSIASTIC STARS! Start to finish, this place gets it right. Flawlessly prepared, homemade, authentic Turkish cuisine has never tasted this delicious. Just as the name suggests, it’s like taking a trip across the globe straight to the heart of Constantinople — gorgeous, artfully crafted food complete with the freshest flavors and ingredients. They spare no detail to make the atmosphere as authentic as possible, too — even the plates, glassware, and flatware seemed to come straight from Turkey. Family run with a pleasant vibe and stylish atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the owner himself, who also serves you personally throughout your meal. His table service was attentive without being overbearing. You can tell he is genuinely invested in the satisfaction of his patrons. I really enjoyed the open layout of the kitchen — it lends a grassroots honesty to the whole place when you can see straight in and even say hello to the lovely people preparing the homemade food (no doubt from recipes passed down through generations). Beautiful wines and loose-leaf teas on offer to accompany the traditional Turkish menu. Try the Four Cheeses pizza — it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Overall, Constantinople is a total win. I will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
