“We have stayed in this amazing homely beach house a couple of times now, it is beautiful inside and out, all the home comforts for summer or winter getaways, close to all the amenities, the beach is just perfect and close to enjoy walking and taking in the environment, The place is immaculate although we are only a couple perfect for family as this place caters well for the family. Little touches like muffins on arrival these little things go a long way. Will always be back. If I could have given more stars I would Thank you making our time so special”

“Absolutely incredible, beautiful horses, amazing team and a spectacular experience going from beach to forest, it was an absolute pleasure to be riding on Gizzy. The team have really good explanation on all safety aspects and point out where there could be potential hazards along the way. Going through all sorts of terrain really made this experience incredible, and who knew that your still in West Auckland!”

“Piha Beach is a very popular beach for both tourists and local residents. My husband and I have been to Piha Beach for several times and we both love the views there. We enjoyed the great view there and the delicious real fruit ice cream at Cones On The Beach which is just opposite to Piha Mid Beach. We highly recommend you to go there at daytime, but only night time.”

“Muriwai Beach is a breathtaking natural wonder! The rugged black sand, and powerful waves make it a must-visit. Great for walks, photography, and just admiring the scenery. Remember to be careful near the water.”

“Great hidden beach on a gravel road but still not too far form auckland CBD.we were lucky enough to see this beautiful place on our last day in NZ and it did not disappoint. Decent fishing from the multiple rock locations with a handful of streams that the kids can play in (water is hot if the weather is). Definitely worth checking out”

“Just lovely. Easily accessible from Auckland via the downtown to Devonport ferry with a walk over an old volcano! Great views, clear water. As much a locals spot as fir tourists. Great ice cream shop nearby. Had a fantastic last swim in New Zealand.”

“I love taking my dog there. We go after 5pm. My son who lives up the walkway from beach takes his dog b4 10am. It's off leash as well. All dogs are well socialized that are off leash. Very safe.”

“Great beach for a nature break in the city; fantastic with takeaway/packed meal at low tide to walk off street the nom nom noms. Not recommended for inexperienced or young people to swim due to long jagged rocky foreshore bed.”

“John was an excellent host and the place was incredible. The views were absolutely epic and we enjoyed visiting the beach and dunes. If you’re looking for a remote area to stay, this is it. It is about an hour from Auckland. I recommend visiting Rotorua, as well as PIha beach if you have the time. So awesome. I’ll probably never be back because I live 16 hours away via airplane but the memories I had were once in a lifetime. Thanks John, I hope to see you one day again. “Quiet safe park awesome field has a little park but it's still okay great for dinner and lunch playdate w6the kids I wouldn't swim here but kids love to get dirty and explore the rocks shells”

“French Bay is a very quiet and lovely beach in Auckland. My husband and I went there on 19/10/2023. We had a relaxing stroll there and enjoyed the magnificent views near French Bay Yacht Club. We highly recommend you to visit there if you live near there or drive past there for a walk.”
