   Had an exceptional experience with Muriwai Horse Treks on the Waterfall Trek! I rode Frankie, who was an absolute gem — calm, sure-footed, and clearly very well cared for. The scenery was absolutely stunning and the whole experience was unforgettable. I hadn’t properly ridden for many years, but they did a fantastic job catering for my experience level and making me feel comfortable and confident. You can really tell how much they love and look after their horses. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to be back!

   Absolutely incredible, beautiful horses, amazing team and a spectacular experience going from beach to forest, it was an absolute pleasure to be riding on Gizzy. The team have really good explanation on all safety aspects and point out where there could be potential hazards along the way. Going through all sorts of terrain really made this experience incredible, and who knew that your still in West Auckland!

   Best experience we had in New Zealand! I can’t recommend this trip enough. We did the two hour trek and loved every minute. The beach was stunning the wooded trail also breathtaking. Our guide was wonderful and the horses were exquisite. They are happy lovely horses which are a delight to ride. You must go!!!

   Last Saturday we had a most fantastic ride. Weather turned out great, and we really appreciated the attention to detail, and care provided by the team. I would highly recommend this for people wanting to experience horse riding, as well as beautiful Muriwai beach and Wood Hill forest.    We had a team building day at Muriwai this month, the horse trek was incredible. We got the whole beach to ourselves - so nice!! The experience was perfect from start to finish, excellent communication, amazing location, wonderful people, well cared for and happy horses, mixed terrain ride to keep things interesting. We would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

   Absolutely amazing. The horses are SUPER friendly, and you may feel a bit scared at the beginning of the ride, as I did, but as you start getting the hang of it, you'll be enjoying yourself in no time. The staff were so friendly and kind. This horse trek is highly recommended and I'm sure you'll have the time of your lives. Horomatangi, the horse that I rode, was an absolute angel. He wandered off trying to eat grass which made me a bit scared but was hilarious at the same time. After that, he kindly led the herd of horses and was super calm. My mom rode Opōtaka and my mom said that he was SO nice and listened to everything my mom told him to do. I definitely recommened this place to beginners and experienced people.
