   Had a wonderful brunch with my hubby and 18yo son. My son had the chicken waffle tower?! Demolished almost all except a few fries. My eggs bene was yummy! Finally decent poached eggs with cooked whites and runny yolks and hubby had the creamy mushrooms he said were great. Lovely sunny spot so looking forward to having dinner there sometime over the coming summer.

   We recently visited this restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience fell a bit short of expectations. One issue we encountered was with the bacon we were served—it appeared noticeably burnt. When we raised our concern, the staff member assured us that it wasn’t burnt, which was a bit surprising given its appearance. They did bring out freshly cooked bacon upon request, and we appreciated the willingness to address the issue. That said, we’re still left wondering why the original serving was considered acceptable. In addition, we found that the overall flavour of the meal was somewhat lacking, which impacted our overall dining experience. While the service was polite and responsive, the quality and taste of the food leave us very hesitant to return.

   We got recommended to The Beach Club through First Table and made a booking, but the system only allowed us to book for 4 people, even though we had 5 in total. So we called The Beach Club directly to inform them, as we wanted a table for 5. They were happy to accept the booking and let us know that with the First Table system, the fifth person would be charged at full price, which we completely understood. The food was absolutely delicious, and we loved the warm and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. The 50% discount on all the dishes we ordered was amazing—we’ve never had such a generous offer at other restaurants, where discounts usually apply to only the main courses or selected items. But here, everything was included—so go for it! We highly recommend The Beach Club. If you love oysters, though, we suggest not using the First Table system to book, as the discount doesn’t apply to oysters.

   We were lucky enough to have our wedding celebration here, right from the first meeting the owners were so kind, friendly and organised. We had 34 people at the event and the we organised with the chef and Dan very smoothly what the menu would be and helped to work with our budget, which other places had been far less interested in doing. On the night they shut early so we could use the entire place, it made for a beautiful venue and the food was served FAST and lots of it. Everyone said the food was amazing and we've been there multiple times and love it. Can not recommend enough!
