“Very cool park. Great playground at one end of the park and a cool looking hide out/ tunnel/ ex-cannon place. Would have loved to use the stairs to go down the beach, but it was closed off. Looking straight ahead, you can enjoy Rangitoto island. A cool fact I just searched up, this park is named after American president John F. Kennedy.”

“Eaten brunch here a couple of times. Eggs bene and avo on toast. Good both times. Has become a regular stop for a coffee and cake after a dog walk. There are 2 doors, so ordering and counter food is done in the back corner. You can then walk outside to the diner and take a seat. Makes for a nice quiet area to chat while waiting for food as no coffee machine working! Dog friendly and outside seating area for firry friends.”

We ordered the buffalo wings (next time we'll go for the hot ones—these were mild but still tasty), shoestring fries, the pulled pork burger, and the beef brisket burger. Everything was fresh and satisfying, especially the burgers which were full of flavour. Special shoutout to Nelli for her fantastic service—she was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome. We sat outside, which was perfect for a chill afternoon, watching the world go by. Definitely a spot we’d come back to for a relaxed meal and good vibes.”

Everything was made fresh and we couldn’t fault it. The massaman lamb was delicious and the money bags were the best we have eaten. The prices were reasonable too. Will definitely be back!! “Just moved here, and I got suggested this place. What a setup. Really love it. Very spacious, workers are awesome to talk to, and the local people that I spoke to are very social. Good vibes. Was told to try their pizza and hot dog, so I did. - Brownzy dog 7.9/10 2 for $5 is great value. They're not spectacular. However, they're perfect while watching live sports and are arranged quite well. Delicious to eat. - Meat lovers pizza 7.5/10 $10 isn't too bad too, good size to share. At this point, I was a bit drunk and vacuuming the whole thing to sober up, but it was good for a bar snack. Prefer the brownzy dogs over this.”
