“Love this place! Super cheap and in a great location. The Grazies restaurant is really beautiful and the steak meal was beautiful. The only downfall would be the buffet breakfast which I got last time I stayed. The food was cooked great, but I was just expecting a little more variety, like scrambled eggs, breakfast sausages, mushrooms etc, like what you would normally see. Definitely recommend this place the staff are really lovely too.”

“Excellent Stay – Twice! We stayed at Camellia Court Motel in Taupō during our trip to Auckland and were so pleased with the experience that we booked it again for our return journey. The standout feature of this place is Vishal, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He’s the go-to person if you have any questions or concerns — his hospitality truly made our stay comfortable. The motel itself is neat, clean, cozy, and very quiet — perfect for a good night’s rest. “have stayed here twice now, and its now my go too. the staff are friendly, the rooms are a great size and have everything you need, Easy check in, nothing is a drama. Its walkable to everything, lower hutt shops, station village pub. close to motorway, even tho you dont hear it, theres no staff walking round, its quiet, My daughter who is 9 loves it. We have booked 1 bedroom apartment twice, it feels very homely. the only thing bad i could say is maybe a bit more attention to detail on cleanliness, but that is me OCD, its very tidy overall.”

“Very highly recommend this motel! The location is perfect - right beside a bus stop, and walking distance to the supermarket. The daily service was excellent. The studio we stayed in was perfect - new and clean. It was very quiet. The bed was really comfortable with a bamboo topped mattress. The staff were super helpful and very friendly. “We had a very comfortable, nice one night stay here. Grant and Jeanette were very lovely hosts. Had two cars and parking was not an issue (one of the few places in Wellington i believe!). Overall, it was an amazing stay and not to mention the place was immaculate! 5 stars without a doubt, would highly recommend to anyone considering and we look forward to returning next time!”

“AMAZING!! My family and i stayed here for a night in a 3 bedroom suite we were really happy with the value we received for the price we payed. The room was immaculate and really comfortable,The beds were the best was like sleeping on a cloud. The host is gorgeous and so helpful we did not have a prior booking however she was more than happy to help ....really recommend staying here you will not regret it....we will definitely be coming back soon .”

“The Sunday night roast smorgasbord is a great value quality meal in a bright open plan venue. The food delivery is fast and easy to access with large numbers of customers present. Many in our group had seconds, so plenty of quality cuts of meat including roast beef, fish and pork roast were available. The deserts were excellent as was the service. We will back for our next large party event.”

“I only found one fault . The Wellington water was not nice to drink . Everything else was well above standard .the service was way above average .the $100 deposit was refunded in 2.5 minutes . It's a quiet place where no one makes a fuss . Extremely happy to recommend this place to single people or family's.”

“I dont know what the other reviewers got but our room has a new bed very clean bedding, it's very clean, kitchen and bathroom are well appointed. Very quiet esp on a Saturday night. Good parking outside our unit. Yes we had to pick up key at 95 Hutt Road abt 5 properties away that's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. This is a budget accommodation and very very nice for what we paid and rated accordingly against that”
