Lovely clean, very comfortable and spacious motel. Welcome treats on arrival were a pleasant surprise. My unit had everything I needed. Manager went out of his way to accommodate me with booking extra nights each day as needed. Thank you for my stay.
My partner and I stayed for one night. We really enjoyed our time there! The staff were super friendly and helpful! The place was so clean and tidy, we had a great sleep on the bed. The only tiny fault for us was the tv remote wouldn't register to the decoder unless you went super close to the tv ( literally right infront of it lol) nothing major. Would definitely recommend this place! I will for sure be staying again in the future :)
Absolutely loved our stay here. From the very warm welcome and the extra thought put into the preparation of our room, to the spotless furnishings, amenities, bedding, towels and bathroom, to the quiet off-street yet central location, what more could you possibly look for! Easy parking right outside the unit's door. Heaters in every room for the cold nights. Will definitely be back next time we are in town!
Excellent Stay – Twice! We stayed at Camellia Court Motel in Taupō during our trip to Auckland and were so pleased with the experience that we booked it again for our return journey. The standout feature of this place is Vishal, the manager, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He’s the go-to person if you have any questions or concerns — his hospitality truly made our stay comfortable. The motel itself is neat, clean, cozy, and very quiet — perfect for a good night’s rest. It’s also very affordable, which makes it a great option for budget-conscious travelers. We highly recommend this place and will definitely consider staying here again in the future. I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel!!$ From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable, They even left us a bottle of Coke and some chocolate Tim Tams which was such a sweet and thoughtful touch! The team was incredibly polite and welcoming throughout our stay. A special shoutout to the housekeeping staff as well — not only was the room spotless, but they also found and returned my missing earring, which I thought was gone for good. Their honesty and attention to detail truly impressed me. Thank you again for the amazing hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!
One of the best motels I’ve stayed at. The rooms were warm and spacious, and the staff were lovely and accommodating. The free wifi worked very well. There were plenty of ammenities to fit everyone’s needs. Despite being very close to the freeway, there was very little noise from traffic. Would very much recommend it.
Very tidy unit, 2 storey and good for families. Little bit noisy as close to main roads and thin walls means you can hear when people in other units get up/shower early in the morning (fans in bathrooms are very loud also!) Other than that, great facilities with staff who are very accommodating! Great value, would recommend this place to other people who are after somewhere affordable to stay.
Nice room for a family over two levels. A bit hot upstairs and no fan unfortunately. Downstairs extractor fan in bathroom sounds like a jet engine in main bedroom. Very friendly and accommodating hosts however and great facilities.
Very tidy and clean. A nice change to have a full kitchen in the unit also. Slight double payment problem that is stil to be resolved, missing a hair dryer in the room and also missing some sort of info sheet for the motel....but apart from that it was very nice and comfortable.
My family and I liked it here the bed was comfortable and the shower was beautiful and hot and very powerful The kitchen was sufficient it had everything we required so all and all It had everything that we needed to satisfy our stay here we will definitely stay here again if we're ever on holiday in Wellington.
