   I was part of a sports team that stayed at Bella Vista in Wellington. The owner/operators were really great at communicating leading up to our stay, they answered all my questions quickly. Check in of our big group was easy and seamless, and the rooms were all clean and tidy and had all we needed. Then during our stay the owners were so accomodating, going above and beyond to facilitate uniform washing and being so kind and friendly when someone was locked out at 10pm. Would highly recommend Bella Vista.

   Handy motel, not too far from airport and CBD. Friendly hosts, called in late one evening after Air NZ cancelled yet another flight and they had a room no problem. Flight path to/from airport is close by, depending on wind, great place for plane spotting but they may bother you if you are a light sleeper. Better than the city sirens all night if you stay further in. Great walking track by the coastline right over road, penguin nesting area also.

   What a wonderful surprise. Clean, located right off of a bus stop, wonderful location, quiet, attentive staff. As others have noted, Leo's is spectacular bakery and coffee shop right next door. Couldn't be happier.

   Great accommodation and location. My husband and I spent a week in Wellington helping our granddaughter shift into a new flat. We stayed in unit 10 it had everything we needed, and we would definitely stay again. There is an amazing place called Leo's bakery across the road which was a bonus.

   Fantastic place to stay. Proximity to supermarkets and restaurants was awesome. I have never stayed in a motel with such a sparkly shower and comfortable bed. It was cleaned to a super high standard. The host who greeted us was lovely and gave us great information about where to eat or shop if we chose to self cater. Great to have such an informative guest book in the room too. We would definitely book again if staying in Wellington. It was close to the airport for our early morning flight. Highly recommend.

   Owners were very helpful and delightful. It is the cleanest motel we have stayed in for a long time! Motel room is small but adequate and has everything in it that you need. Location is great although it is wise to go out onto the road slowly as you leave due to the camber on the road (easier said than done when turning right as there is a curve in the road to the left and you need to move quickly if someone is coming around it toward you).

   My work put me in this motel for 2 nights and the staff here are very friendly and and nice, however the rooms are really small, the first night I couldn’t get the heater on I tried everything it was freezing, the next day I emailed them and they said it’s working but it definitely wasn’t when I put it on so they must have fixed something. The lady put the heater & electric blanket on for me the next night she was really nice. Unfortunately that night there were noisy guests who were talking loudly in the carpark area between 1am & 3am it was so annoying. Overall stay I can’t say was very good, much prefer the Brentwood our companies regular hotel.

   One of the cleanest places I’ve stayed in. Could use a big upgrade to their wifi and sensor lights outside the rooms so the light doesn’t shine through the top of the curtains all night but otherwise it was a great place to stay. Not super flash, just a good hotel run by friendly people and friendly staff. I’ll be staying there again next time I’m in Wellington for sure.

   IDEAL PLACE TO STAY WHEN YOU CAN LEAVE CAR. BUS STOP RIGHT OUTSIDE. STAFF VERY HELPFUL. Only problem which was outside hotel's control was folk who had a room had visitors who were all rowdy until 4am.

   Couldn't fault our experience at Bella Vista Motel Wellington. Such a hospitable couple who owns it. They were super accommodating to our group. Amazing service. We wouldn't think twice about booking again next time we are in Wellington. Great size room, all the amenities you could ask for. Comfy bed, clean bathroom. A makeup station for the ladies. 10/10
