   Absolutely rhe worst place i have ever ever stayed its dirty old run down and the best part was when they said it was newly renovated... Heat pump isn't able t9 he controlled. There is no refund once yourve paid which is of course before you see the room. All in all thus place us def not 5 star its def not 3 star its 1 star

   We stayed in one of the older family units. At first glance I was happy, it was clean and well presented. On closer inspection there were a lot of problems. Cracked tiles, broken door handles and the toilet seat did not fit and hardly stayed on the toilet. Outside fence left blowing in the wind disturbing out nights sleep as well. The room was adequate but not anything amazing. We also had my teenage sons wireless headphones taken from the room during our stay Motel will not accept any responsibility and has now blocked my number so I am left to call from my children's phone. Very hard to get a response from them. Emailed with no reply. Called three times before they finally returned the call to once again deny responsibility. Interestingly they were going to "check cameras" when I mentioned something going missing from a room. Either a lie or they have cameras inside the rooms!

   Only thing going for this place is the handy access to the train station. Otherwise it’s such hole. Arrived and have been given a room different to what I booked, toilet seat broken (which my partner fixed so our toddler would actually use it), a whole tap faucet that turns when you turn the tap on. Loud as heck, absolutely no sound proofing. Shitty water pressure despite the sign outside that says “new high pressure showers”. Absolutely do not recommend this place.

   Horrid… couldn’t make this up if we tried…. • Booking confirmed on 27/7 for a 2-bed unit on 26/9. • On 11/9 I received a message saying my payment details had declined (not true), followed by another saying the room was unavailable. When I called, I was told it was a mistake and that the booking was fine. • On 24/9 the same thing happened again – another false decline message, then told they could only offer a 1-bed unit, which didn’t suit. I couldn’t reach anyone as it was after hours, which was very stressful given alternative accommodation was much more expensive. • On 25/9, when I finally spoke with someone, I was told the room had a leak and my booking had been invalid since 11/9. The response was dismissive and unhelpful. • Around the same time, the property’s name changed from “Dupont Motels” to “Avana Suites” — just plain dodgy. Overall, the experience was stressful and disappointing. Communication was poor, the service was rude, and the whole process felt dishonest. Based on other reviews, if you’re keen for what sounds like a death trap (that’s if you actually have a booking) then by all means book — otherwise, steer clear. Grateful for booking.com though - made sure we weren’t ripped off, and provided some compensation to assist.

   Absolutely terrible, couldn't find our booking then put us in a unit that was totally different to what we booked. Smell of damp and mould, spare furniture for another room(that they asked if we'd like to use) fridge was turned off and in need of repair, we had to ask for the milk, no sky box(though apparently in every room) or did player, no flannels or tea towels, no hairdryer and the coffee machine turned out to be a kettle. Would not reccomend this place, clearly using photos of the nicer rooms then give you the rundown ones. Very disappointing as paid nearly $200 for a room valued at $143, glad it was only one night or we would have left.

   Booked one bedroom apartment, photos we'd seen online was not the room I booked, was completely different. Showed manager online photos, doesnt look anything like the pics online. False advertising I told him. Asked him if there were emergency housing people here he said no he lied. Took us to the room that was ment to have been apartment, looked like a cabin at motorcamp. People next door to us came out an said youre in room with cochroachers. Walked into bathroom hair in basin an shower. Smelt awful throughout was fithly. Asked manager what are the rooms like on balcony, much better than where he was putting was a bout to ask for refund but because it was late, we stayed. I wouldn't go back, make sure to read reviews next time.

   Absolutely disgusting. I would give this motel no stars if possible. The room smelt musty, Was no kettle to make a hot drink, had to go into reception to request one, a pot with mould in it and unclean in kitchen cupboard. A telephone for decoration, wasn't even connected. Was not able to get any wifi connection, having to use my data and hotspot. The smell was terrible.

   Very average. Rooms were tidy, Well stocked with teas, and coffees. Could do with better drainage in the bathroom and more comfortable beds. Was disappointed and disturbed to overhear an abusive situation between a man and a woman late at night, which kept us up all night. Other weird noises, sounding like someone was scrubbing something in the middle of the night. Guessing that this is not a good location at all.
