“Food is an absolute vibe, I bought the crispy pork bao bun and the pork belly bahn mi, and holy moly they were SENSATIONAL. I only wish they chucked some slices of fresh chilli on there as well but that's just me - I can only assume mainstream tastes prefer it less hot. Anyway, so incredible, especially for a food court store. Hope these guys are available on uber eats - otherwise I've just found my new favourite eating spot at glenfield mall!”

“Cypress Restaurant is fantastic across the board! I absolutely love both their Yum Cha menu and their dinner menu. The food is consistently very tasty, the portions are generous, and I honestly can't complain about a single dish. This is a must-try spot.”

“It was 2022 when I first came here, and back then the food was great and it was pretty decent overall with services and atmosphere. However, when I return today, their quality took on a whole new level. Services are much more pleasant and welcoming now, and although there are inflation, they compensated it with a free drink for just ordering a bowl of rice noodle. Atmosphere didn’t change too much, but it has always been satisfactory. Overall great experience! P.S: food usually takes only 3-5 minutes to serve now.”

Food is yummy with no question. They even have installed one Karaoke machine on the second floor private dinning room. They open for business in most days in a year which is very thoughtful. At first, I thought the place was closed because the lighting was so dim, but I realized it was open after taking a closer look. The staff were also very friendly. However, the atmosphere felt a bit gloomy, which made it seem like the staff were lacking energy, and I felt sorry about that. I hope you stay strong and continue serving your delicious food.”

“Basic math skills definitely need to be reevaluated due to disappointing service being short changed. One of my horrific experiences I asked for a $20 item plus a $1 can of drink and a lighter. I handed over $40 in cash (x2 $20 notes) and in change I was given back $10 note??? How does a $1 can of drink and 1 lighter cost $10? Very poor math skills. Especially with their ethnic background. Very dissatisfied.”

“Doing late shifts at work and having to find a place for dinner rather than lunch glad I came here. Great portion size Roast Pork on Rice is my go to, Fish and Chips are Crunchy on the outside and soft and moist for the fish and fluffy for the chips. They have a whole lot of variety of dishes and great value for money and you can even eat in too, if you're ever around the Mt Smart Onehunga area drop by and check them out for yourself, I'm sure the friendly staff will be happy to see some new faces.”
