What an absolute aweful dining experience.
4 of us arrived for drinks and dinner at 6pm. The bar had a few people in, but certainly not busy and the restaurant was not busy either.
Drinks were slow from the bar, but the meals just took a ridiculous amount of time to come out. We had to ask for both our Entree after an hour.
Our Main meal for 2 of us were a platter where the only thing that was cooked was the toasted bread and a Camembert cheese. The other 2 meals were a Burger & Ribs with coleslaw, so nothing very time consuming. This took a further hour. I would certainly not be recommending this Pub, as the restaurant service was unacceptable and the food was just average. .

What a gem of place to have dinner as a group of x15 people. We were made to feel welcome and valuable from the moment we arrived.
The service was outstanding, both for the meal and the bar. Nothing was a problem and it was really nice to note that the staff appeared happy in their place of work, and they all seemed to get along so well...both with each other and the clientele. Such a friendly place to eat.
The food..... OMG..... the food was amazing. Every dish that came out made me envious - until mine arrived. And then I was very happy indeed!! Everything was cooked beautifully and served with such ease and there was no long waits for anything.
Highly recommend the Goodhome Gastropub Papamoa and certainly hope to get back there one day soon.

Shared a bunch of food between us, had the chicken Caesar salad, bangers & mash, mushroom burger & caullie bites.
Everything was so tasty! 10/10 the vibes were good & friendly staff. Would highly recommend the mushroom burger to any vegetarians.

Had some great customer service and loved the atmosphere. The food was a bit pricey, but it was amazing, the food was very flavoursome and we were very impressed.

Best Pizza in Town !

We Went in today Easter weekend in afternoon about 2.30 pm for pizza hot chips and drinks with the family for the busy Easter weekend .
Best pepperoni pizza ever tasted in NZ !
10/10 complements to the chef so tasty and cooked to perfection .
Jade the waitress was fantastic after having a very busy morning! She served us with a smile and such a friendly and welcoming feel to making our Easter weekend special !

Both the chef and the service definitely need a decent pay rise thatβs the kind of staff you need to keep your customers happy thanks so much for all your efforts 10/10 would highly recommend the GH in Papamoa!

Went in for drink and nibbles with my gals and had the such a great experience! Awesome atmosphere and very friendly staff! Loved all the food, came out very fast from ordering! Will definitely be coming back!
