“Great place to hang out with friends and family. this place is also a family licensed bar, great friendly staff. They also cater to every occasion, Have your next get together at The Hanger, watch live sports at the bar. they have lots of seating space both inside, outside and upstairs. They also have lots of parking available and off street parking.”
“We were a group of 16 and had an enjoyable lunch. Friendly helpful staff and a range of food meeting the appetite of different people.”
“The food was served warm and fresh. Meals ordered was scrambled egg with toast and Omelette w tomatoes, mushroom and onion. My partner said the omelette was amazing. The scrambled egg was moist and tasty. Coffees were cappuccino and flat white , both coffees were very well made. A few things that could been a little better is adding another slice of toast to the omelette one was not enough for my partner. The toasts are considerably small. The flat white was a little tepid, however it didn't take away from the experience and flavour of the meals and drinks.”
“Excellent variety of meat, grocery items fruit & veg at discounted prices compared to the supermarkets. Friendly, efficient service, handy location, plenty of free parking”
“We visited Magic Loft Avondale with our two boys and had such a good time. The staff were warm and genuinely welcoming. My kids were busy, happy and safe in the playground while I relaxed in the café area, still able to keep an eye on them. The space was set up well for families, fun for the kids, comfortable for adults. We’ll definitely go back.”
“My favourite supermarket, I go here multiple times a week and have been doing this for around 5 years. Relatively small store with a tonne of selection. All the staff are incredible and they are always polite, helpful, and keep shelves stocked. Beats any supermarket in west Auckland radius by a long shot.”
“So glad I stumbled upon this cool shop, handy location so close to my work. Family owned store by the looks, super friendly and helpful. I buy all my friends and family birthday and Xmas presents from here now, easier to buy for a pet than a human!”

“Such a clean and tidy store. Carparking is great for smaller vehicles, if you're in an SUV be nice to everyone and park towards the back!”
“Plenty of parking spaces. The store is well laid out inside. Not many checkouts operating and no self checkout facilities. Checkout staff was friendly”
“The interior is bright and clean. Items are well organised. Can get most Asian condiments here in this place. Just located next to Westcity mall. Only limited parkings available in front of the supermarket.”
“Friendly staff and great customer service. Nice cakes”
“This place is awesome and you can’t cut it any other way. They were out of hot meat pies when we arrived but they did have a meat pie in their cold case that they could heat up so what’s the difference? It was tasty! The desserts were incredible and the sandwiches were lovely as well. They also had lots of different groceries so we picked up different snacks and beverages. They even had nag champa! We ate our sandwiches on a little table overlooking the beach. This place is a gem and it was open super early in spring around August-September.”
“I don’t usually write reviews, but I had a great experience at Starbucks St Luke’s. The coffee was spot on, the service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was really good. I’ll definitely be back.”
“Visited Auckland Botanical Gardens and decided to fine dinner. Decided on Thai. Tried Thai Tradition Restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Walked in and found it to be as if we were in Thailand. The found was amazing. Beautiful presentations. Pad Thai with chicken. Wait staff was friendly and dressed in traditional style. Loved it.”
“5+ This business is incredible. They have amazing Tea's (our favourite is the Butterfly Blue Pea Flower). They aim to be sustainable, (naked packs as well as within tubes). The service is incredible and price is incredibly reasonable. You will not be disappointed if you chose to purchase through this company.”

“Had lunch here, teriyaki chicken set meal. Very good taste, healthy and delicious food, you can tell it is carefully cooked. The shop is a bit old, but it is still relatively clean and comfortable. Recommended. Will come again. Just a little bit hot.”
“Pak’nSave Māngere is a no-nonsense, budget-focused supermarket that does exactly what it promises — cheap groceries in bulk. The store itself isn’t the newest or flashiest, but it’s functional and serves the local community well. If you’re shopping on a tight budget or feeding a large family, it’s a reliable go-to. The inside has that typical warehouse feel — simple shelves, bright lights, wide aisles. It’s not fancy, but it’s spacious enough to get around even during busy periods. The layout can feel a bit chaotic at times, especially when there are big specials on, but once you get used to where things are, it’s manageable. Pricing is where Māngere really delivers. The weekly specials and everyday low prices make it one of the most affordable places to do a full shop. You can fill up your trolley without completely emptying your wallet. Produce is decent, with a mix of fresh and not-so-fresh depending on the day. The meat section offers good value, but it’s worth checking the dates and picking carefully. Bakery items are basic, but they do the job — plenty of white bread, buns, and rolls to choose from. Staff are usually helpful if you ask, though it’s more of a self-service environment overall. Don’t expect warm greetings or chit-chat, but they’ll help you out if you need something. Checkout lines can get long during peak hours, but they usually move at a steady pace. There are self-checkouts, but the layout around them can get a bit cramped when it’s busy. The carpark is fairly big, but not the easiest to navigate. It gets crowded quickly, especially on weekends, and the entry and exit points can be a bit of a squeeze. Still, if you’re patient, you’ll usually find a spot without too much trouble. One thing to keep in mind — the online listings don’t always match what’s actually in stock. If you’re planning a shop based on what’s shown on the website, be prepared for a few things to be missing or substituted. Overall, Pak’nSave Māngere is a workhorse kind of supermarket. It’s not about the experience, it’s about the savings. If you know what you’re after and just want to get in, get your groceries, and save money, it ticks all the boxes. Just don’t expect bells and whistles.”
“Always friendly staff. Very helpful. Shelves are always stocked. Nice and clean store. Easy pick up for Uber as well.”
“Lovely spacious restaurant in the heart of Botany Town Centre. The food was delicious, the mussels in white wine and garlic cream was so good. The pork belly was tender and the crackling cooked to perfection and the potato bake complimented the whole dish. The longhorn cheesecake was yummy with subtle flavors of kaluha and moro bar, very nice. A really enjoyable evening made even better by the polite and attentive staff. We would gladly dine here again.”
“Absolutely Amazing!! Food was divine especially after a busy morning, brunch definitely satisfied our cravings!! We purchased the Eggs Benedict, Chicken & Waffles & Iced Coffee & Lattes, we are definitely coming back!!”
“Been here,a few times now. Lovely and Bright Ambiance. Love the Art Surrounding their Walls Inside. Beautiful Set Up. Kind and Welcoming Smiles. Fast and Efficient Service. I Loved the Big Breakfast. My Daughter Loved her Kids Meal, whatever it May of been. Thank you Columbus Coffee in Ellerslie.”
“Great customer service, food is great, atmosphere is excellent. Highly recommended venue. Ivy (I had to get the name of who made the coffee) makes a brilliant cup of coffee. That coming from a coffee addict says a lot. Thank you to the management and staff for the great service.”
“We went two days in a row, and I personally prefer the first day, I got the bacon and cheese muffin and bacon and cheese toasted sandwich. The reason I didn't enjoy the omelette much was there were items added on the plate that I said not to add. Good price for breakfast, friendly staff and a large menu for different people, along with a buffet (which is next on my list to try), and great coffee.”
“Food is REALLY Good! Pork belly and lamb were amazing and onion rings are a great appetizer. Craft beers on tap GREAT selection of craft beers too. Will definitely come back...OFTEN”
