My five stars that I've given are all for our server who was Harshit. Harshit was very helpful, friendly, prompt and made the dining experience very positive. I have to add how good the ambience was beautiful surroundings. My husband and I appreciated watching the birds as we looked out the window while dining. (Not all seagulls)
Service was incredible and had 2 lovely servers, however the food was a real let down. Got the $85 seafood grill, and it only came with salmon, shrimp, calamari, bread and chips. A bit disappointing, as there were other seafood items on the menu such as flamed mussels. Most definitely NOT worth $85. Have gotten the seafood grill once in the past, and it also came with clams and mussels. I understand seasonal items are a part of what can be served, however mussels are still in season and I’m a little disappointed by the lack of selection for $85. Furthermore, also got the $40 ribeye (was a special occasion so splurged a bit) and the ribeye was rather chewy and honestly quite hard to eat. However the bits that weren’t chewy were extremely delicious.
This place used to be our favourite spot but it seems they’re under new management and has lost its spark. A group of 6 of us spent about $450 in food however came in at 6.15pm and didn’t receive our mains till 7.30pm and when we did only 3 of us got our mains while the other 3 waited another 30mins for fish n chips and one seafood grill with no one checking in through out the night. For a Saturday night it seemed they only rostered 2 waitstaff so wait was quite long for service and drinks. This place used to do delicious cocktails which sadly is no longer on the menu.
we ordered the mixed breads to start, generous portion more than enough for two people and lovely dips, then the pork belly and salmon. incredible food presentation was incredible, staff were lovely had the best time, service very fast and couldn’t be topped!!!!
If we feel like giving ourselves a treat after a hard week's work, Harbourside Grill is no. 1 go to for seafood! Their menu never fails to amaze (food presentation at its best)... last Sunday much excite sharing their huge pan fried fish market. Boy was it delicious!
Instead of a main course I ordered 2 entrees to arrive together, the one pictured is the Buffalo Mozzarella, and I had the Salt and Pepper Calamari and a bowl of fries with it. More than enough to fill me up, there were chips left over. I had 2 glasses of the Growers Mark rosé which paired nicely.
Great service, lovely atmosphere and amazing food. We had the fish and chips and the venison strip loin. The venison was perfection and the sauce and accompaniments paired so well. I would recommend a side with the meat dishes like chips or salad if you aren’t having entries. The cocktails were also tasty. Totally recommend them
Great location by the harbour. Parking available. Food was presentable and delicious. Friendly staff but not very attentive.
It wasn’t my first choice but I am glad that we came for dinner. It’s a nice place with lots of characteristics. Friendly staff and great food. I quite enjoyed the seafood platter and the dips for the bread.
