We Came to Rotorua for my husbands 40th birthday and we were looking for a really good halal restaurant, my husband wanted halal certified as well so when we walked in we were greeted so warmly and shown the halal certificate too. Let me tell you we really really enjoyed the food and definitely will be back when we r in Rotorua next. Thank you guys!!! Amazing food and customer service!!

Just finished our meal here. We were unsure whether to eat here or not, because of the negative write off from 2 weeks ago. However we decided to give it a go.
Best choice today. Fantastic hot tasting food, spice level exactly as ordered. Service excellent, attentive, polite and very helpful. We would be very happy to eat here again. Highly recommend. ***** 5 Stars!!

Personable, friendly waitress with exceptional delicious food. We had a shared platter and a butter chicken. Simply delicious and portions were reasonable. Quick service. Would highly recommend especially to those visiting Rotorua as the lakefront boardwalk is just a short stroll after dinner.

A group of us had dinner at Lovely India Restaurant tonight. The service was prompt and courteous, when asked for advice it was freely given and nothing was too much trouble.
The 15 meals were served in a very short time and the food was everything we expected and melt in your mouth delicious.
I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Arrived from Hawkes Bay and we were in search of somewhere to dine, we were turned away from several restaurants because it was nearing 9pm. The people from Lovely India happily accommodated us. The service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was amaaaazzzing!!! We had the $18 dinner deal, curry, rice and naan. Highly recommended 10/10. Beautiful people!

We went a week back to this place for lunch as we had travelled from Auckland to Rotorua! Very nice and cozy place and food was just amazing! The location is just perfect .. you can go out for the walk near the lake after this .. recommended for food and location.

On a weekend trip from auckland, Lovely India was a warm and delicious meal after exploring Rotorua. Really good price and big portions. The staff were super nice and friendly. Would 100% recommend!! I would come again.

Lovely India Restaurant in Rotorua claim to have the best Butter Chicken in town and my kids and I thoroughly enjoyed ours. The kids menu was perfect, with just the right amount of food to satisfy my tweenies. I really liked the surroundings also, it was quite relaxing. The staff were friendly and professional. The prices were also very reasonable. I would definitely go there again and would recommend.
