“Yummy food. New menu. Staff were great, food was excellent and good coffee too. We stop here quite regularly as the kids love their Whittaker’s hot chocolates. They change up their menu seasonally which means it’s easy to find something new and exciting. The cabinet is always stocked with delicious cakes, slices and cookies too.”

“We were exploring Huntly area and was craving fish and chips for lunch. After looking up, JJ's came up. Since it was close by, we decided to give it a go. We ordered Fish & Chips Special No. 1 ($7). The deal comes with 1 fish, 1 sausage and $1.50 chips. The food was perfectly seasoned and fired. I believe they change their oil regularly. Highly recommend checking this place out when you guys are going by.”

“Went in for dinner last night with a big group of 30+ people. Coming from a hospitality background myself, I knew it would be a challenge for the staff, but they handled it really well. The fire alarm went off twice during our visit, so we had to evacuate each time — obviously annoying for everyone, but totally out of the staff’s control. They followed protocol and managed the situation calmly and professionally, especially considering many of the team looked quite young. Big credit to them. Surprisingly, they even gave us a 10% discount, which they didn’t have to do since the issue wasn’t their fault. It was a nice gesture and appreciated by the whole group. The food has definitely improved since I was last here a couple of years ago, which was great to see. Service was spot on too — friendly, attentive, and efficient. All in all, a good experience given the circumstances. I don’t normally leave reviews, but this one was well deserved. Will definitely be back.”

“Wow! Way better than I expected! First time trying Chicking after hearing and reading mixed reviews. A friend and I got the pack in the photo. We ordered the spicy chicken pieces. The spicy chicken was like KFC hot n spicy but probably even better, the chicken was so moist and delicious! Chips were good and burgers way better than the cheaper ones from KFC. 5 Stars, everything delicious!”

“During a sale we purchased an air fryer, due in store stock levels the model we chose was dispatched from the warehouse and delivered to our home. Prior to the unit arriving we had second thoughts about the model we had chosen. We called it to the store and explained the situation, not a problem we’ll sort things out when the unit arrives the assistant told us. The fryer arrived and we duly took in to the store for an exchange. What breath of fresh air it was no problem for the assistant to do the paperwork and exchange units. “I really enjoyed going into this Woolworths, I'm from a small city so it's always interesting to go to the bigger supermarkets. The variety of meat and produce that you have faster passes anything the smaller cities get”

“This store has a really nice layout and stays reasonably well stocked. Our favorite thing about it, though, is it's fairly quiet and peaceful. A large discount store down the road attracts the big crowds, leaving this one surprisingly empty. It's always pleasant to walk in here and not be mushed in with throngs of people in the vegetable section as other stores funnel everyone in there. In Countdown you can start shopping in whatever isle you want. Refreshing!”

“Great to see that the collectibles are being shared around! Bought a great dinner : olives, gherkins, feta, edam slices, carrots, ravioli, and ginger kisses for desert. Easy nutritious and delicious (sans kisses) 'Number free' options were a bit tricky to find but we found our healthy choices eventually.”

“People, we have not been in a Starbucks for a long time however if one wants a real, delicious flavored latte coffee in a 16 onz (473ml) Grande cup this is the place! Sure the $7.30 price is up there however it is value for money if one likes their coffee not to mention all their other coffee options & sweet treats. “Was invited there for a birthday party this Saturday. Was very busy and yet the facility was clean and well run. I order a coffee and got it quickly and it was a great coffee too. Thee kids food in the party room was really nice. My kid lt me have some hot chips and they were actually really nice. Well done to all the staff working there. Great experience.”

Staff always very helpful and pleasant Central Mall also has a great free flowing movement by where shoppers have great respect for each other around them.
