“5 star review for the lovely young Pasifika woman (apologies I didn't catch her name but wanted to make sure she was identified) who assisted me on the 25th of June around approx 5/6pm with my dehumidifier. I brought in my dehumidifier (almost at 2 years old) due to electrical faults and concerns, wanting to check my warranty and if I could get some help. Initially I was assisted by an older lady who misunderstood my request thinking I was after a return/refund, after I had specifically asked for some help with my machine that had sparked when I plugged in & was wanting to know if it was still under warrant and/or if someone could help fix it. She then proceeded to tell me I needed a receipt even after I showed my online contact with Mitre 10 noting the staff could call the shipping store upon arrival to assist and get the receipt details as it was an online order, but she told me to ring the store myself. As I went outside to grab the machine from my car & brought it back in with my daughter, I hear the woman telling the young lady I was after a refund/return which was in fact untrue, I quickly corrected her and this is where the young lady came in and helped me out. As I purchased online there was no physical copy but she was super helpful as I showed her the email contact with Mitre 10 & online details i could provide, The young lady got the initial staff member to call up the shipping store and was just super helpful and sorted it out fast and efficient. Great customer service, attentive, listened to what I needed and I was able to get a replacement as I was still within my 2 year warranty. The difference in service was visible & I think shes a great example of perfect customer service. Thank you very much to this young lady- approachable, super helpful and super happy with the outcome.”

A genuine, effortlessly friendly and welcoming vibe and I see them treat ALL their customers this way. Baby City was the best customer service by far and were so helpful answering all our questions. “Went in here on Jan 1st for the first time and was so shocked at how big it was! The woman behind the counter was so so lovely and had a good search around to see if they had any tennis balls to go with my new tennis racket finds here! Also got some camping stools, such a well priced place with helpful staff! Definitely look forward to going back regularly!”

“There are 2 dairys (convienamce store) that sell food items in Hataitai. Milk, eggs tea, bags ... all your common things. This is the bigger of the 2. Also they sell beer and wine. A Lotto counter is there as well. Staff are friendly. Some things are expensive like meat, but if you are in need of something quick and don't want to go to Kilbirnie supermarkets this is convenient.”

“Have bought multiple items from this place and they have all been well priced and great quality. All pieces have come with tools and extra screws. Book shelves are loaded with books and there is no warp in the shelves. Coffee table was a bit tricky to build. I'd happily purchase from them again.”
