   I ordered Chester’s Puff Corn two times- the first time was excellent- the store was efficient in getting my order packed and sent as fast as possible which is awesome and the chips tasted great too. For the second time unfortunately, the chips I received were stale. They were past their "Guaranteed fresh by" date, which I didn’t realise when ordering, and I think it would be helpful for customers if this information were clearly explained on the product page. I understand now that it’s a shelf rotation date, but this wasn’t obvious when I made my purchase, and I didn’t visit the homepage to see any additional details. However I want to give credit to US2U Johnsonville for their response. They offered a full refund, including shipping, which I really appreciate. It’s clear they value their customers and stand behind their products, which goes a long way. While I was disappointed with the product this time around, I’m happy with how the company handled the issue. If they made the freshness information more visible on the product page in the future, I think it would help avoid misunderstandings like mine. I’ll be more likely to order again knowing that they’re committed to resolving issues in a fair way.

   Absolutely fantastic store! US2U in Johnsonville is a hidden gem for all things American. The range of US goods is amazing — from snacks and sauces to cereals and treats you just can’t find anywhere else in New Zealand. The store is always well-stocked, clean, and organised, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Whether you're after a nostalgic favourite or just want to try something new, this place delivers every time. A must-visit for American expats and curious foodies alike. Highly recommend!

2. Panda & Tigers Adventures (Emz Sri) ★☆☆☆☆

   Bought all these products today for Christmas gifts, spending close to $100! Only finding out after opening one packet to try and realizing it was stale, then checking the expiration date to find some had expired in July! 5months!!! Was not made aware in store, yet was charged full price!!!! Would never have purchased had I have known. Such a waste of money considering these are not cheap.

   Let me start by say saying that I love how we have a US store and their lollies are delicious. However I don’t love the fact they are selling products with their used by date off by 3 months or off at all. This could be excused by stating that it is off by the pricing label or put it in a discounted area where people are aware that the are off. I’d say if you’re going in to get takis, there will be a 8/10 chance that they are off. I don’t like the fact that they aren’t discounted down as the takis I got recently are off by over 3 months, I had to ask to get a discount even tho they should be anyway not to mention they are already extremely expensive.

   An American grocery shop with lots of American goodies for sale from drinks and snacks, cereals and meals... To cleaning products and other household items. A well laid out store. You can also find bargains with outdated stock, it's well labelled as such. We grabbed a Ranch packet and a packet of pizza base powder which you mix with a few other things to make pizza. Yum!

   I love this shop! As an American expat, I love finding the occasional treat that I’d completely forgotten about after 18 years in NZ. Even more when I find a specific item that I can’t get anywhere else. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. I am always impressed with them. US2U has managed to stay open despite the difficulties getting containers into NZ (due to Covid) so I endeavour to buy even a little something any time I am nearby to help them stay afloat. Keep up the great work Kev and team!
