I love the bakery at New world Thorndon. Always so good. The service in self check out should improve it.
Best super market, their pizza, bakery section is great, they have fresh samosas..
This is a nice store with huge range of products. The craft beer section is impressive. However I found the prices are not the best and the staff were really rude which was very disappointing.
A spacious supermarket with parking in the city centre. You can shop comfortably. The historic building next to it was also very nice. Thank you, New World!
Our familyβs favourite supermarket and itβs one where we have to stopover whenever weβre in town. They do the best sandwiches and you can mix and match the meat, veges and dressings. Very reasonable and large portion. There are also cooked food available and their bakery is top notch with lots of birthday options available. A very large supermarket thatβs stocked with nearly everything you require. 2 storey parking makes it a breeze with the covered parking below. Located conveniently when youβre off the motorway and so easy to head back out.
Good produce and a great selection of products, hot food at lunch time!
It's a new world. The price of meat when up 50% between my visits which is crazy but probably not their fault. Clean and often not to busy so easy to get your stuff
Nice super market that offers a lot of things. Not sure if it's expensive or not as I don't have experience with other supermarkets. But probably a good supermarket in Thorndon area near Victoria University and Lambton Quay.
Big New World supermarket with more complete items and spacious parking space. This one is located in the Pipitea area and open from 7 AM to 11 PM. I love the hot, ready - to- eat food selection, seafood and bread as well as sushi. Some of my fave is the ciabatta with olives and sun-dried tomatoes and the sourdoughs. They also carry huge selection of cheese and wine. A lot of birthday cakes as well, including the one you can customized The prices for fresh fruits and veggies might be a bit more expensive. But donβt forget to check out their specials. Staff are helpful and the cashiers are fast. It is also disability friendly
