   I went into whitcoulls last Saturday at my wits end trying to find gifts for children. I have none myself, and am useless at knowing what to buy! My prayers were answered by a team member I hadn’t seen there before, Anita, who was so friendly and knowledgeable! She took the time to walk me through options, suggesting many different age appropriate gifts that I would have never even considered. I’ve been here often but haven’t had customer service like hers before, she was truly a blessing. The only thing I feel I should mention is she was often interrupted by another staff member who briskly told her to get back to the counter. Anita apologised to me and reassured me that she’d return to help, which she did, but I felt that was an odd thing to do as Anita was helping me, and the other team member didn’t seem to be doing anything. The gifts were a massive hit and I’m so thankful for her help. She was juggling so many customers, but never once forgot to come back and help me! Thank you again Anita, you were a lifesaver!

   Im trying to get some homework done but there is a lip that lifts one side of your home brand rulers up so you cant use it to rule a line. Is this a sick joke? they be letting anyone make rulers nowa days. Every time a have to spin it around to use the others side. There will be a special place in hell for you buddy! All the staff are very kind and polite. Store is clean.

   Nice to browse but you can find almost everything cheaper anywhere else. Staff were either staring at me or too busy talking or finishing their conversation before serving customers.

   A good sized store but not much in the way of calendars although not surprising in mid winter. Magazine selection was good and there was a good range of family games for sale.
