“Had the loveliest experience at Lorna Jane Riccarton today. I called in feeling a bit insecure, but was answered with so much kindness and encouraged to come in anyway. The two women on shift around 11am were incredible — they spent over an hour helping me find pieces that made me feel confident and cosy for winter. I’ve honestly never experienced customer service like that. I felt supported, never rushed, and genuinely cared for. So thankful — it meant more than you know!”

“I have been here multiple times and these guys are awesome! They always fit me in last minute which I appreciate. The first time I thought I had a puncture and they had my car for a few hours and checked them and couldn’t find anything and didn’t even charge me, another time it was for a WOF and most recently I did actually have a bad puncture but turns out I needed 2x new tyres which are very expensive being run flats but was so appreciative they gave me the best possible price. I’m a single mum so always nervous about being taken advantage of with unnecessary repairs but that definitely doesn’t happen here. Thanks guys :)”

“My family and I drove here from out of town after a horrendous experience with a terrible, arrogant pharmacist and we are so glad we came here! Not only are the products affordable but the pharmacist who helped us was so lovely and helpful (unlike the one that was so arrogant in the town some 180km away). The pharmacist was so patient and spent so much time helping us even though she seemed quite busy, I think she was the manager but she took us to look at multiple options and explained them all so we could pick the right product Also feeling so so sorry for what they have to deal with. While we were there some horrible man was yelling at the staff blaming them for something that sounded very much like the guys own fault. And based on the reviews too. Some people really just dont understand how things work. Of course ID's have to be physical, anyone can present a digital/photo of one...thought this was common sense. Another one...it can't really be their fault if they havent got your prescription, it's your own responsibility to follow that up, how rude to expect them to do it for you. Also most companies who hire guards/bouncers source them through other companies so how is it the pharmacy's fault who they get as a guard? Shouldn't complain via a review about a guard but to the company the guard works for probably Honestly many of the people complaining about being treated like they're dumb do sound dumb... Give this pharmacy's staff a raise especially with all the idiots they seem to have to deal with yet they still provide great service. We will definitely be back and will recommend them to others”

“Today my daughter and I went to Life Pharmacy in Riccarton for our flu vaccinations. We had a wonderful experience, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the nurse who administered our vaccines. I’m truly sorry and a little regretful that I didn’t get her name—but she is, by far, the best nurse I’ve ever met. My daughter has always been very afraid of injections, and today she was extremely anxious. But this nurse showed extraordinary patience and used incredibly effective techniques to guide my daughter through the process smoothly. Afterward, my daughter kept telling me, “Mum, I really like that nurse—she’s the best nurse in New Zealand!” I hope that by leaving this 5-star review, I can help pass on the kindness she gave us to others as well. “Needed a couple of random little plumbing bits for work, knew this place would have everything we needed and after a bit of rummaging managed to find exactly what we needed. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. Love this place, will be back :)”

I am always greeted when I walk in and then I am able to browse peacefully until I find something I would like to purchase. It’s also never too busy which is good for me as I have a young daughter and often need to take the pram into shops with me.”
