   Despite having excellent experience with the lady chemist, I had a shocking experience with the young male chemist that saw me yesterday Friday at around 8pm. He started by sucking teeth and saying that skin conditions were hard to diagnose. He commented about the GPs not getting to know what was what and that dermatologists were very scarce. He was patronising and only offered paracetamol for the pain. And that was that. He did not offer or show any kind of productsor aids to make me more comfortable or to avoid exposure of the affected area. I didn't expect to get a medical opinion from him but I felt wronged for being treated as a nuisance. I left the Riccarton Life pharmacy and walked to the pharmacy outside the mall where I was treated with respect and given suitable options.

   I recently visited the Chanel counter and was so impressed by the service. Sulkie, who was clearly leading the team, set the tone with her professionalism, warmth, and product knowledge. She made me feel welcome right away and guided me through options without any pressure. What stood out most was how well the team worked together under her lead. The counter girls were attentive, polished, and consistent in their approach, and you could see Sulkie’s influence in how smoothly everything flowed. It was such a refreshing experience — luxury service that felt genuine, approachable, and knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be returning, and Sulkie deserves special recognition for setting the bar so high. Moira

   Today my daughter and I went to Life Pharmacy in Riccarton for our flu vaccinations. We had a wonderful experience, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the nurse who administered our vaccines. I’m truly sorry and a little regretful that I didn’t get her name—but she is, by far, the best nurse I’ve ever met. My daughter has always been very afraid of injections, and today she was extremely anxious. But this nurse showed extraordinary patience and used incredibly effective techniques to guide my daughter through the process smoothly. Afterward, my daughter kept telling me, “Mum, I really like that nurse—she’s the best nurse in New Zealand!” I hope that by leaving this 5-star review, I can help pass on the kindness she gave us to others as well. We are so grateful to have met her—what a blessing and a privilege it was.

   My partner and I came in here on 21/12 at about 8.30pm and unfortunately did not get names but two men (I think one was named Callum?) ended up helping us as my partner had bad dermatitis on his hands and they were both so caring and helpful and had some great recommendations for him. I decided to write a review as it’s quite rare to have people actually want to help and have knowledge about products especially at this time of year! Highly recommend coming here!
