   Nice clothes. Not good customer service was just looking around at the clothes with my friend today and the worker was randomly staring at me in a weird way. Made me feel awkward tbh, I said hi to be nice but she still looked at me funny. And it was my first time looking at the shop haven’t shopped there before.

   I’ve never written a review like this before, but I feel really disappointed after my recent experience. I already own one Ruby dress and was excited to treat myself for my 21st birthday. Unfortunately, the service I received was the worst I’ve ever experienced. I went yesterday/monday and when I arrived at the store, there were two staff members chatting about their weekend and they seemed uninterested in helping me. I knew exactly which two dresses I wanted to try, but when I asked for a size, one of the girls sighed before reluctantly going to get it. Once I was in the fitting room, the dresses didn’t quite fit, but I was still really interested in them. I tried to get help to find another size, but both staff members were more focused on fixing their hair in the mirror than assisting me. Even when I asked about other sizes, they didn’t offer any help. I was the only customer in the store (with my mum) and would’ve happily purchased both dresses if someone had simply taken the time to help. Instead, I left feeling judged, upset, and completely overlooked. No one even noticed when I walked out.

   Worst service I’ve had in a long time. I ordered a dress in-store after being told units were available in another store and it would be sent out immediately. A week later, nothing. When I followed up, I was told it was actually on pre-sale until October — never mentioned in-store about pre-sale, even though staff knew I needed it for an October wedding. It feels like my order wasn’t handled properly, and instead of being upfront I was just pushed onto pre-sale without being told. I’ll never shop here again. They used to be fantastic, but standards have clearly slipped — and after checking reviews from other stores, it looks like a company-wide issue. They need to do better... and also Ruby don't worry about some apology below this. This is a warning to people ordering from them as someone who has worked in management in NZ boutiques, their management clearly need to address some company issues. You are who you support!

   Wasn’t happy with service. I love you guys and your clothes but honestly the service wasn’t great. I bought a tank online in your knitwear sale, and it wasn’t right. Needed to return and you guys wouldn’t let me. You guys told me it was final sale (which it clearly stated on the website it wasn’t) and that you couldn’t do anything. The manager then came out and said ‘just this once’ she’d let me exchange it for smt else instore. So no refund at all and just to top it all off she was super rude. I ended up spending an extra $100 on a top I didn’t want because I didn’t want to be left short $150. Ridiculous!!! I will not be back, as the service instore when I was trying on wasn’t good either. I was completely ignored. Be careful before buying anything from this shop

   I went in to find what my new size of firebirds would be on Tuesday. The team member was so kind and took the time to make sure I had a good experience. I also decided to try on the firebird dress to see what size I was and they were so kind and didn’t mind that I tried on three different sizes. Always have to head there when I make it to chch.

   Absolutely love entering this store! All the girls there are super lovely and so accommodating. I can go in there knowing I’m most likely walking out with at least 1 or more pieces. The only thing that could make this experience so much better not just for customers but for the lovely gals that work there also is if the store was much bigger! Over the recycled/seconds sale it was very hard to get in and look at things as the amount of people in the store at one time was chaotic, couldn’t move around people to even look at the full priced items. Overall I love this store!!

   Cant seem to leave a review for the online store, so will leave it here. Super, Super unimpressed with this whole store. Have had multiple issues with them throughout the years. Bought a skirt on their website yesterday, get an email today saying apparently it was an error and they dont have the stock. How disappointing is that.. Maybe u should update ur website more often to prevent this from happening. So so unhappy and DO NOT recommend buying from this shop at all. $200 refunded, not the point had my heart set on this skirt and was waiting to get paid before buying.

   Staff asked to see my mask exemption, fine. I showed it. Then validity of govt exemption questioned. Not ok. Staff then patronisingly said they would let it go this time but not again. REALLY not ok for a retail store. Hardly Frontline people. Will never shop here again.

   Appalling that you are discriminating and not accepting mask exemptions instore. To be told we can just order online is unacceptable. Will not purchase anything from you again. Your decisions have ramifications. No way to do business.

   Never felt more discriminated against… showed the worker my mask exemption which was prescribed by the government and emailed from the Ministry of Health. The worker had the audacity to question the validity of my exemption. Under the government website it says you do NOT have to show a Mask Exemption Pass if you cannot wear a face mask. I felt forced, ostracized and put in an uncomfortable position where I had to explain my personal health conditions to an absolute stranger. Never returning to this place. Poor customer service and discriminatory.
