The food is simple but absolutely delicious—choose chicken, lamb, or a mix, served with tasty rice and curry. It’s great value for money and always consistent. We ordered 3 servings for 5 people, and it was more than enough. Don’t expect a typical restaurant setup. You get your own drinks, plates, and cutlery. If you're dining in, you can skip the takeaway queue—just find a seat and order at the counter. We always get an extra serving to enjoy for lunch the next day. Tip: Join their Facebook group to check if they’re open. Long wait, but totally worth it!”

“Have experienced super good service here! The staff are always friendly and I’ve often been given a complimentary drink, which is such a nice touch. I usually get delivery or pick-up rather than dining in, and it’s always been super fast and ready when I arrive. Portion sizes are generous, the food is always delicious, and they consistently have great deals available online. I even took my grandparents here once, and now they’re huge Thai fans too! Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly. A relaxed, sunny lunch with great service and great food. Would definitely recommend for a casual group lunch in town.”

“The staff were very pleasant, polite and smiling. The food was delicious with generous proportions. I had the prawns and others had pork and the Dynamite Chicken. Prawns were presented nicely and had tails on, and stir fried, medium spicy was not very hot. I don't like deep fried food, but others who had the Dynamite Chicken enjoyed it. They said medium spice was not hot either.”

“Valentines Hornby is our favourite place to eat! We go at least once a month and cannot fault it. The food is fantastic - a great variety, very fresh, always beautifully cooked, and nicely presented. They often experiment with new dishes but you can rely on the favourites to always be there. The food is always hot and constantly replenished, and there is a great salad bar too. The dessert is amazing! Such a variety, including a chocolate fountain and ice cream machine. I love all the small portion mousses, meringues, cheesecake, hot dishes and the sides, like berries, cream and sauces. The lemon roulade is so good! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is great too. We cannot praise this place enough - do yourself a favour and check it out! Great value for money too.”

“delicious food!! size was pretty massive, we were there when they almost close, but they let us in and cook for us. very kind gesture. we ordered a bunch of food and couldn't finish it. the highlight is their congee, i really enjoy their century egg congee. full of eggs inside. their yumcha also very nice. i would recommend this place.”
