My Japanese wife and I keep going back here, we try other places now and again but they can’t compare. She says it’s authentic, just the same as you can get in Japan. For myself, I like going to hachi hachi because I like the real unprocessed meat that they cook just right and fresh veges and salad
We got the Salmon on rice and salmon salad which I would recommend. Salmon dish here was really honestly delicious and I cannot wait to go back.
Hachi Hachi offers great Japanese comfort food. The Tonkotsu ramen broth was rich and tasty. The chicken karaage was crispy and juicy, and the sushi was super fresh. Service was quick and polite, and the restaurant has a nice, relaxed vibe. A great place for casual dining with friends or family.
Gyoza was obviously frozen and not defrosted properly - cold in the middle. Ramen broth was watery, pork was cold as well, had not been reheated properly. No fresh ingredients used at all. Cost $60 for that and two servings of sushi. Didn’t even eat it. No good

Came here for lunch. The waitress is super slow although not very busy. I ordered a ninja roll for kid but they forgot. Then make up by making real bad one. Ordered a green tea but it is not supposed to be boiling hot. Very bad service, wont come back
There was a hair in the noodles and I almost ate it. It was disgusting. I really question whether they meet the hygiene standards.
Takeaway meal S8 steak, rice, pickles, salad & Miso. Quickly prepared. Fresh, flavoursome. Would I go back, definitely. Loved it.
Rude service from the cashier and the food was not even good. The cashier glazed at us and sounds like doesn’t want us eating here.
