Amazing food and great service. Like a high-class restaurant, which you wouldn't expect in a motel. We had both our dinner (with great entrees and dessert) and our breakfast there. The only thing that could be improved is the number of vegetarian main options.
Absolutely stellar food and very lovely service. We had great starters, my pasta was simply perfect, and the lemon tart was incredible. Jill's service was very hearty and swift despite many tables being occupied. Highly recommend.
Honestly, this is one of the best restaurants I've been to. The server was super friendly and accommodating to our large group. The food was amazing, although it was on the pricier side but I guess you expect this with motel food. The chicken carbonara was creamy and rich. There were plenty of bacon and chicken. I recommend!
Who would think an airport hotel would provide one of the finest dining experiences we had in 2 weeks of travelling Southland? Attentive personal service from a gorgeous host. Perfect lamb dukkha and fish. Finished off with dessert. Leaving NZ very satisfied thank you Chef and hostess. If you don’t stay here - drop by for dinner.

I was pleasantly surprised by this quite and especially quaint Resturant. At first I thought I would walk around the corner for a basic meal. The waitress seated me, gave me some time to decide. She came back at the right time to take my order, which arrived soon afterwards. People, I was blown away. The quality of the food, the Grace and pleasantness of the waitress . All out of this world… I will definitely be back to eat and taste another meal, even enjoy yet another great glass of Wine.
A hidden gem near the airport area. Loved their seafood chowder and medium rare steak with mashroom sauce. Staff is super friendly and considerate of your needs. Nice kids play area at a very safe distance and visibility. If weather allows, you can also dine outside next to the play area.
