We recently had a team event for about 30 people at Winnies, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, they were incredibly easy to work with and made the planning process stress-free. The team was proactive and planned ahead to ensure everything ran smoothly on the night. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for our group. A special shout-out to Glen and the staff for looking after us so well—they were attentive, friendly, and made sure everyone had a great time.
We had a lovely lunch at Winnie Bagoes with my work crew yesterday. It was a beautiful day, so we sat outside ... perfect spot to enjoy the sun and people watch. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly. A relaxed, sunny lunch with great service and great food. Would definitely recommend for a casual group lunch in town.

I had a great experience at Winnie Bagoes City! The pizza was delicious, with fresh ingredients and a perfect crust. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for tasty food and excellent service. Can’t wait to visit again!
Always hear the name "Winnie Bagoes" said around town when the idea of pizza comes up and now I know why! Warm and lively atmosphere. Fast service. Pizzas were a bit on the pricier side but it was tasty and had a generous amount of a toppings so totally worth it.
Fabulous afternoon/evening there with bottomless drinks and pizza! I am also celiac and they were REALLY careful with my food so I am just very impressed! Omg the salmon pizza is to DIE for .. so so tasty! Can’t wait to have it again! Great customer service as well thank you
This place is a Christchurch institution and for good reason. Absolutely fantastic food and incredibly reliable, I must have been coming since the early 2000s. Front of house and bar staff are always on point too which is great. Good variety of food options, so no matter who is in your group everyone will be happy. If you're visiting Christchurch and you can only try one central city spot, make it Winnie Bagoes!
Great place to spend the evening with your friends. Winnies fried chicken is a must try. Good range of cocktails. Overall good food, friendly staff. Live music.
Excellent quality pizza. Awesome service. A wide range of pizza options including kids meals. Good quality bar and drinks available. Music and ambience is on point. I recommend the spicy lamb and spicy chicken. Well done to the team.
