“Stayed for 2 nights when first arriving in Christchurch, the motel was so good that we returned for the last 3 days of our trip. Marko was very accomodating and the beds were amazing. Could barely hear the traffic despite being on a relatively busy road, and was very nicely located to the mall. 10/10”

“I cannot recommend 306 Riccarton Hotel enough! From the moment we arrived, the hosts made us feel so welcome with their warm hospitality, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Their friendliness and willingness to help at all times truly made a difference. The price was affordable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the rooms. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we hardly heard any road noise. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with everything we could possibly need—and then some! The location is ideal, within walking distance to nearby shops etc so everything was super convenient. We’ll absolutely be returning to 306 Riccarton Hotel next time we’re in Christchurch. “Great place, with great service! My partner and I went into Dawes last week to get feed for our meal worms. Had a bit of a walk from the bus stop near Foremans Rd to Dawes itself, and would have had to get a taxi from Dawes back to our place in Beckenham. Thank you to Dawes awesome Operations Manager John Miller who offered to deliver the feed to our door for us at no extra cost! Thank you John for your amazing service, we will be back again. “Luxe Doggy Day Spa exceeded my expectations with their grooming service for my wee dog Milo who suffers from anxiety. Despite Milo's matted fur, they were done in 2 hours and Milo looked fantastic. The spa itself was immaculately clean which is reassuring when it comes to the well-being of our pets. The staff seemed genuinely passionate about their work and professionalism was evident in every interaction. The motel was perfectly located just across a major Supermart (Pak n Save), and their prompt service made check-in seamless. “Had a fantastic stay at the Randolph Apartments over Labour Weekend! Fantastic well appointed rooms, so clean and tidy, host really friendly and helpful! Also walking distance from some good restaurants! Also loved the fact that they had a bottle of dishwashing liquid not those horrible little sachets! Will definitely stay again!”

“Well located motel just minutes from the Botanic Gardens. We arrived in 5 deg C weather and the heating was turned on for us to enjoy the room immediately. Very thoughtful gesture. Our room had 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, a kitchenette, a dining table with 4 chairs, and a toilet. Comfortable space for 4 adults. Only issue is that the beds are a little on the soft side but pillows are firm & high, which made for a pretty weird sleep at an angle. Washer & dryer available, which were very useful! Kitchen had a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, French Press, and an induction stove, hob, and pots and pans. Functional! Definitely recommend this place for those looking for a simple, fuss-free but comfortable stay but don't mind soft beds.”

“Wanted to get back into the hobby but this time with a larger tank. For a 140 liter tank I was looking at a price around $200 but went to Rodney's tropicals and paid $132 for a custom glass tank that is strong and also looks very tidy. Very happy with the tank and also looking forward to selecting fish from here as they have a large selection at a great price. Strongly recommend visiting this store.”

“I can’t speak highly enough about this motel and the awesome owners Brendon and Tina. They bent over backwards to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay, even allowing us an early check-in and late checkout to work around medical appointments. Brendon even brought in some mobility aids to make life easier in the unit. It was like a home away from home for us…spacious, clean, quiet, well equipped and very handy to some great eateries. They even had pot plants to give it a homely feel. We will definitely look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Christchurch.”

Warm comfortable suite with everything we needed for a 5 day staycation. Beautiful building and lively atmosphere out front was always a great welcome home. The board behind the counter with all the dogs that are being helped out by the charity just add to it and it's great knowing that anything spent here is going to such a good charity. Grabbed so many different bits and bobs for the house from here and always pop in if I'm in the area.”
