   Lovely and comfortable historic building with a great balance of preservation and modern comforts. The staff really make the difference, excellent communication and care shown at every step. The breakfast was really tasty and we also had dinner when we arrived and particularly enjoyed the lamb. The room is spacious, the bed comfortable and the bathroom is wonderful, with the heated floor adding a really nice touch of luxury. It was convenient to be slightly out of the CBD, with easy access to the airport and points South and a quiet location that felt safe and cozy. It’s a wonderful place to stay for a visit to Christchurch, a boutique hotel in a quiet setting with attentive staff.

   Set within a beautifully restored historic building, the rooms are exceptionally spacious, the bathrooms are modern and well‑appointed, and the in‑room climate control works perfectly. The staff are unfailingly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying again.

   Recommend! Stayed 3 nights- beds comfortable, black out curtains and quiet corner room. Accessible room was especially spacious which we definitely appreciated however lacked dresser and desk. Delicous fresh made to order breakfasts and great staff. NZ Air Force museum walkable but nothing else nearby.

   This is use to be officer's quarter from the 40s. In good shape with a courtesy staff. Next door to the New Zealand Air Force Museam. No elevator but the front desk staff are in great shape and will carry your luggage. I offered a tip but he would not take it. Great food in the restaurant at a reasonable price. The room, 207 was a bit small but clean and comfortable.

   Excellent customer service and attention to detail, Id highly recommend this place. The two alternating bartender/receptionists were very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice, clean & spacious with amenities youd expect but the view could've been better(my room looked out to the parking lot), hence why its a 4 not 5. Would definitely come back if I had the chance to! :)

   Beautiful hotel with lovely staff and stunning, spacious rooms. Stayed here for a work trip and it was perfect for what we needed. Generous, comfortable rooms, cafe on site and friendly staff. The building itself is beautiful; old charm decorated with a modern twist. Thanks for having us, can’t wait to stay again!

   Great place for me to stay while on a work trip. It was close to where I needed to be and, wow, the rooms have been thoughtfully renovated with quality finishings....while still maintaining the historic character of the building. Really helpful staff, one suggestions would be for them to all wear black or have a uniform to up the game but it was a minor detail. Loved my stay and will be back. Sorry about all my stuff in the video!

   Stayed 2 nights. Nice rooms. Very clean and tidy. Generous size. Bar was good and staff attentive. Whole place seemed a little understaffed. Breakfast , this was the one big let down. Don’t have it. Excleent use of a beautiful old building. Will stay again.
