“Most beautiful stay. We were traveling through Christchurch when we decided to stay an extra night to visit friends for dinner quickly booked this place on booking.com easy as service just pulled up needed a PIN code to get into the house and had everything wifi hot shower clean tidy bedroom. We will definitely recommend to other friends and family. May even come back though and stay a night on our way back.”

“I stayed in November 2024 for 2 days with a late check out. I wanted to give this motel a review as I found the staff extremely helpful as it was my first time in Christchurch. I want to commend the staff making our stay great. The location is fantastic - great bus routes to airport, city and beyond and the Riccarton Mall literally across the road. Being self contained and having a mall across the road made it easy to get supplies to cook food etc. I really recommend Dean Bush Motel - ring them instead of going thru a book app to get the best deal.”

“Absolutely fantastic here. It was the first time taking our anti-social dog here for a groom. She's a very protective Pomeranian so I was nervous. I didn't need to be, we went to collect her and she was socializing with the other dogs, walking around happy as. The groomer did an amazing job too. I will fir sure be a repeat customer.”

“Just want to thank the lovely family who manage the Vita Nova Motel for a great stay. We landed at midnight and we were able to arrange a late checkin. The unit was really clean, bed was so comfortable, Netflix to chill out at night, had all the necessary amenities and great service. Daily house keeping was excellent, she was thorough and showed great attention to detail. Laundry facilities were useful. Location was great, central to everything. Would definitely stay again. “Great experience, I went in to just grab some raw meat for my pup after googling " raw pet food in Christchurch"...the friendly staff member questioned me on what I want for my pup, she was full of great knowledge on animal nutrition and done a quick free assessment, using my dogs weight, size, breed etc, she gave me recommendations on best food and importantly how much she should be feed daily. Great variety of good quality, healthy food for your pet. It looks like this is my new regular dog food supplier. I definitely recommend people at least check out the variety of pet food if your in the area.”

“The team at Animal Orthopaedics Christchurch were amazing. The initial appointment was a whole hour where they took the time to assess and give valuable advice. The process of surgery was awesome with the teams caring nature and constant updates was truly amazing. Highly recommend using the team at Animal Orthopaedics.”

“Where do I start to recommend this kennel. This is the best of the best - simply because the owner and her trusted staff truly KNOW animals. They are passionate, observant, and they are so committed to taking the best care of the pets entrusted into their care using a skill-set you rarely find. They also uncover all their personality traits, which proves how much notice they do take. I had two of my dogs in there this week and Robyn had noticed a touch of aggression from my Jack to my Kelpie, which I had noticed at the same time of day only once before. She was right on to it, and separated them without worrying me. But, she did tell me when I picked them up and I immediately remembered I'd noticed it too once myself, but I thought perhaps it was a one-off thing. So, now I'm going to be watching that narky little Jack closer at home. I can't stress how much trust we put in the people who care for our pets. Make sure you choose wisely, and if you're asking me, I'd say Dentese every day of the week. Thank you.”

“Great spot, further out of town so cats are in a quiet farm setting. The owner really cares for all of them which means your cat isn't just a number. Each set of rooms has an enclosed outdoor space and they get to run around in it daily when it's their chance, rather than just having a small cage they stay in for the whole stay. The rooms and outdoor areas also look out onto the fields of sheep/pigs etc... so there is stimulation vs watching the side of a road or the opposite building.”

“Great facility and our cat came back happy and well. Deborah was great to deal with. We had been struggling to secure a cattery over Easter and Deborah let us know when she had a cancellation and was able to take our pet on short notice. She was also great about extending his planned stay and was clear on communication feeding information and pick up/drop off. Will definitely use in the future”

“The hostess was very accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and decorated well. The whole farm setting complete with alpacas and horses was fantastic. Convenient location close to the airport too. I highly recommend staying here.”

“I drive my cats out here from North New Brighton because the gardens & landscaping they have built around the cattery is beautiful, and it makes me feel good because it's like a little cat resort. Their comms are great, friendly people, and the hygiene standard is top-notch, as is their professionalism. Highly recommend.”

“Had a wonderful tour with Chris last Sunday. Chris is a very kind and handsome person who loves animals and care of them a lot. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip with my family in CHC. I'm happy to learn about farm life and the stories of the animals, and we love the kune kune Pig -smile mouth!”

“The most incredible dog groomer I have ever been to and I've had my babies see a few. Honestly this woman clearly loves what she does and treats her furr clients like royalty at a VERY good price. I urge you to try her out ... you won't regret it. All groomers have said my wee dog is overly anxious (which I haven't noticed at home). The most recent groomer said he even pooped during the blow drying and the cut was jagged and aweful. Ultimutt Cutz said he was a dream ... and I'm not joking ... he's the handsomest I've ever seen him.”

“Excellent staff, I got 4th Covid booster and Flu vaccine the same time. I didn't even feel a thing when the staff was doing injections, even less than mosquito sting. Also the whole process was highly efficient.”

Our extremely picky border collie who is very active & needing to put on some weight absolutely loved the Nourish biscuits & Frozen Concentrate combo. Feeding is now a much more pleasant experience in our household ❤️ My bank account is also very appreciative as the biscuits are super cost-effective. Michelle has always been a superstar, being super helpful by breaking down the cost and suggesting what works best for you and your fur baby! So grateful for not needing to keep changing dog food every few weeks.”
