   We stayed for one night so we could visit friends. Even though there were empty spaces beside them, they wouldnt move us there. Bit of a shame. We took our dog which was great.Facilities are clean. Paying for a shower was annoying and i kind of feel like we had paid for that in our fee of $52.50. Our friends had a quad bike that helped move our children around. He was told off after a few daya of this happening. Noting he was going very slow and all the 3 kids had helmets . Locals were allowed to do any speed and no helmet. We wanted to order from the food caravan but it had a 2 hour wait. Over all it was okay, but unsure if we would return ✌️

   Very nice motor camp with a great vibe. Great value for money very tidy and clean facilities. I booked one night in the Tui caravan and 2 nights in one of the cabins. Loved the Comfortable beds in the caravan. Friendly helpful staff and very accommodating when my plans got messed around by Airnz. I Will definitely recommend and will stay there again if I’m down that way.

   We used the fully fenced dog camp site. The site was well-maintained with a robust gate and fencing. Was really enjoyable for us and the dog to not have a lead. Would recommend and will go back.

   The camp is mostly permanent residents, not travelers. One of the permanent residents strongly abused us after our arrival. The manager laughed it off and asked if it was 'the black fella', when it was an older New Zealand European. The manager accused us of not informing them that we had pets (2 x dogs) with us, when in fact we booked in with two pets on Air BnB so that information was clearly available to them. We wouldn't stay again, it felt too down and out, folks living in caravans on the edge of Christchurch who were unwelcoming to travellers.

   Loved that the campsite is dog friendly! The idea of having a fenced dog site is genius and it was a good price. Seemed to be one of the only campsites in the campground that had shade as the rest of the campground is quite barren. Would be cool to see some more trees around the campground. Well equipped kitchen facilities. Clean and tidy too. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again :)
