   We have been sending our girl to Alameda for 2 years now and it’s her absolute favourite place to be! So much so she’s waiting at the door every morning and cry’s the whole way there!! Our girl goes for daycare everyday and we can never thank the team and Davina enough for giving our girl the space to burn her energy and a safe space to stay when we are away from home! I couldn’t recommend a better place and better people! Thank you all for the hard work you do, it doesn’t go unnoticed ❤️

   Our girl Billie has been attending day care at Alameda regularly for the last few months. With Billie being deaf I was very nervous about passing her over to anyone else or putting her into a new environment, but Right from our first visit it was obvious that the staff really care about the animals in their care. Every effort is made to ensure the dogs have a fun, happy day full of stimulation and Billie always arrives home happy and absolutely exhausted! Thanks team for the effort and patience that you take with Billie…. She just LOVES coming to daycare!

   I bring my dog here every week, and he’s always over the moon to go to Alameda! He starts getting excited as soon as we drive in that direction because he knows he’ll see all his buddies. The team is genuinely kind and caring — you can tell they really look after the dogs, not just see them as business. Of course, it’s a business and needs to make money, but it’s miles better than other places in Christchurch where dog care feels more like $$$ than love.

   Alameda Kennels & Cattery in Bromley are truly the best! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about animals. My boy Turi is a 14 year old Bichpoo who requires a little extra care and attention, and they made me feel completely at ease leaving him in their care. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and thoughtfully set up to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable. Turi suffers from anxiety and usually takes a while to settle in new environments, but he seemed totally relaxed and happy when I dropped him off and picked him up. It was clear he received plenty of attention and gentle care throughout his day. What I especially appreciated were the regular updates, pictures and how attentive the team was to Turi's individual needs. I never felt his specific requirements are a burden - the staff go over and beyond to make sure he's comfortable and content. It's such a relief to know he's not only being looked after, but genuinely enjoying his time there. Turi has had many visits now, both for overnight stays and daycare, and every experience has been just as positive. He's always excited to go back and has grown very fond of all the staff. He absolutely loves it there. When your pet is like family, you want only the best for them and that's exactly what I have found at Alameda. I highly recommend Alameda to any pet owner looking for trustworthy, high-quality care, with staff who truly care.

   I had to go on a business trip these past few days, so I left my beloved fur baby at Alameda for boarding. The staff there were incredibly friendly and patient, and my baby was very well taken care of. They looked so happy and content! I highly recommend Alameda! Next time, I plan to bring my dog along as well. I just hope they always stay happy and healthy!

   During the holiday rush, they couldn't accommodate my dog because I left it way too late. But in an act of professionalism and kind-heartedness they gave me a recommendation for where I could find a place for my dog. Helping someone who isnt even a client speaks volumes. I'll be back.
