“Very convenient to central Christchurch. Stayed here a couple of times, Summer and Winter and the contrast is interesting. There is a back deck outside area with covers and heaters. Drag blankets from the games room too if needed. Cosy villa all around. Can't wait to stay again.”

“Our double coated boy finally got a groom today after us trying to keep on top of his shedding and trimming for five years. I wish I did it earlier. Wow. He looks so good and smooth and was happy as. The young blonde girl is super friendly, professional and clearly likes what she does (not the worst job for sure if you love dogs) highly recommend!”

“Thank you Chet and Steve of being a very good and lovely hosts. Very good stay, the room is cosy, clean and comfortable. They have small little pantry in the room itself - coffee, tea, water and a kettle to boil water. Toilet amenities are also provided. And I like the surrounding garden with planted apples, pears, plums, lavenders and so many others. Walking distance to the nearby cafes and restaurants, and 15km to the Christchurch international airport. As my flight is very early, so I don’t have chance to have the breakfast, which I really love to do it in my next visit again.”

Spacious, warm and wonderfully clean rooms. Well equipped kitchenette. Walking distance to the amazing bakery and other places to eat. Thank you Darfield Motel for a warm welcome and perfect stay.
