“A rare find! The view from the garden room is stunning, with the sound of the stream lulling you to sleep. Best ever linen. Very welcoming hosts. Really recommend a walk at nearby Harry Ell Track and a drive up to Sugarloaf Scenic Reserve if you’re visiting!”

“Had a really good experience at Rydges Latimer Christchurch with my Lion group from Taiwan. I was struggling to find a place to park the coach, and Lama from the Front Office came out straight away to help. He showed me the possible parking spots and then personally guided my group through reception to the restaurant. Even though he was busy at the front desk, he still made sure everything went smoothly for us. We had dinner at Bloody Mary’s, and the restaurant was great. Everyone had steak booked, but since I don’t eat steak, they kindly arranged chicken for me. The food was really good and the whole team looked after us well. Big thanks to Lama and the staff at Rydges for making our visit easy and welcoming.”

“Absolutely amazing stay. Apartment clean spacious, and luxurious. One particular reception staff Aaman went over and above enabling us together concert tickets that we could not access.He really made our stay brilliant. Sports facilities were really good, lap pool and sauna good range of fitness equipment”

“Stayed as a family of 5. The facilities are amazing for kids. We were allowed to bring our dog which made the trip so much less stressful. The park had a bunch of activities organised for the kids for Halloween which meant the kids were happy with not going trick or treating. The pool was SO warm, despite the cold snap. We will be back for sure”

“We find this motel so good. We use it every time we fly out. The early morning shuttle is a great bonus too. The rooms are clean tidy nd very comfortable. Jeff nd staff are great hosts nothings a bother..We will def continue to use this motel.”

“Oh my goodness thank you for the great motel, we have been looking for a place we can regularly book when we come to Christchurch and after trying many different options it feels like we have find a home away from home. Amazing customer service, made to feel so welcome from moment the booking was made we felt welcome, and to arrive to be greeted by a smiling and welcoming face and going out of his way to make changes to accommodate our changes. I felt relaxed, appreciated all the small touches, such as extras bathroom products in the cupboard. Just outstanding, I know where we will be coming for future appointments. “Such great customer service. They replaced our sheets, washed the dishes and left new towels for us every day. The communication was also clear and fast. Even though it is near a main road the traffic was light in the evenings and the rooms have double glazing, so I was able to get a great sleep. The heater was left on before we arrived so the room was nice and warm. Also really competitive pricing. Thanks!!!”

“Our Golden Retriever is super apprehensive around new dogs, she stayed here for 14 days, the staff was so wonderful. First they put her with the calm older dogs and once she had acclimated to the presence of the dogs she went in with you younger more playful dogs. She came back with a spring in her step and a wagging tail. We will use Kosy K9s again”

“Perfect location, opposite to shopping centre and plenty restaurants are in walking distance. Room was bit small but worked find for us as it got spa too. Staff was really friendly. Place was nice and clean. Highly recommended.”

“Great experience. Check-in was quick. Park is huge with lots of space between campers. Kitchen, BBQ, and washrooms were brand new. Laundry takes 2x $2 coins per machine. Overall great stay would recommend. Recommendations for park: double sided dump stations to allow more efficient departure times”

“We stayed here twice recently on our way in and out of NZ. The service was amazing. Each person we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The woman who works the night shift and does the shuttle runs in particular was incredible. The rooms were clean and well maintained. There’s an onsite restaurant and playground. The shuttle service was very much appreciated as we had one of the last flights in and first flights out. We would definitely stay here again.”

“I originally picked Ramada for the parking, but the stay completely exceeded my expectations. The room was the best of my whole South Island trip — spacious, with a comfy king-size bed, washer/dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen. Absolutely loved it!”

“What a wee gem. The owners are lovely and make you feel so welcome. The trees all but hide the traffic, sight and sound. The service station is near for snacks and morning coffee. The room is clean and the birds are chirping. It’ll be the first place I’ll book next time I’m in town.”

The room was clean and comfortable, with a slightly unusual layout (external sink) but a fantastic view and a very comfortable bed. Casting was also built into the TV and seamless. Both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were excellent—great food and attentive service. The staff’s hospitality stood out throughout the stay, making it feel warm and personal. The location is ideal, right in Cathedral Square and close to the bus interchange, making it easy to explore the city.
